At my 40th Pearl Jam show, they tagged Bobcaygeon.
One of the most surreal moments I've ever had at a concert.
Fantastic night. The new stuff sounds great and was honestly a highlight for me.
I am so in love with this new record and it's so fresh and exciting to hear them live for the first time.
I saw the Peppers a bunch with Klinghoffer and I love the guy. It was my first time seeing him with PJ. He's fine when he stays in his little domain with the keyboards, but when he comes out to the side of the stage, it seemed to me like somebody invited their little bro to jam. Vibe, energy and image don't mesh that well. But that's just my two cents.
Ironic they play many live debuts and get them all right and screw up Red Mos.
The Mike fall was actually really scary. I hope he is ok and has no lasting problems for Monday. He was in top form and an absolute spark plug prior. Seemed out of sorts after, still played well, but more reserved. Don't know if Ed saw what happened or not, but him coming over and going back to back with him was a great gesture and perfect timing.
I love getting a treat after Ledbetter.
That's my fanview, see you Monday.
Can’t wait for November. Will be following these sets with interest until then.

Bring on Monday night !
wowser
wowsers.
The Bobcagyeon tag was off the fucking charts…thank you!
Blowing the place up with Setting Sun after Ledbetter was pure class.
Who is wrong and who’s right
Didn't notice the backdrop, couldn't take my eye off him.
It felt lovely to feel his touch again
Edit for typo
Chloe/Crown Of Thorns sounded amazing
The real star of the night was the new songs! They all sounded tight, and I literally had a tear streaming down my face during Setting Sun.
Great start to the tour, I can’t wait for Monday!

Whole show was amazing. Eddie’s voice sounded incredible - not just well-rested, but like he had been practicing his technique. He had a vibrato that I haven’t heard in years. The new songs sounded incredible! I have loved everything on the album except for Dark Matter and seeing it live made it click - it was raunchy and heavy and super fun live.
Overall I loved the screen and the visuals, it definitely felt more polished than a typical PJ show but they used it in such a way to make you feel closer to the band and music. For example, the projector bit - it was so silly but so endearing!
Perfect show. Can’t wait for Monday!

When they went into "Rockin' in the Free World," I thought for sure that was going to be the closer. I started to move from my seat in the second row behind the pit to watch them close out the show from up top but, as I passed the soundboard, I caught a glimpse of the set list and saw "Y-Led" and then "Setting Sun." I did a quick 180 and was back by my seat before the lyrics to "Rockin'" had even started. What a fantastic unexpected surprise to end the show the way they did.
The use of the screens was strange. The first four songs were played almost in silhouette against the bright white screen. Then there were colorful effects kind of like the visualizers for the Dark Matter tracks. Some songs had no images accompanying them. "Do the Evolution" had images from the Todd McFarlane video spliced with images of the band. Some songs just had images of the band. One song had an image that looked like the sun in total eclipse. "Setting Sun" had images of the surface of the Sun.
Ed's message-writing between the main set and the encore was mostly about hockey. He gave a shout-out to Canucks coach Rick Tocchet but spelled his name Tocket.
Looking forward to being on a rail Monday night-- not "the rail," but "a rail": Row 1 behind GA.
