Agreed.  He seemed way off. Barely smiled.

Noticed this about Mike in a few interviews, it might just be a case of RBF...don't overthink it

Yeah he's such a nice guy-never seen him across as arsey at all including this. Poor dude just looked uncomfortable. Interviews aren't like live gigs where you can run off stage and tell your drummer to play a mental solo for a couple of minutes.

Ten club’s next contest should be a tour of HQ
How frickin awesome would that be?! As someone else said, I’d fly from Australia just for that and that alone!

Great interview- so good it felt comfortable. I agree Mike didn’t seem to get involved much, but maybe that’s just the edit; or maybe he’s got stuff going on- we all have our good n bad days. Peace be upon him either way.
I teared up when Ed got a bit emotional talking about something special - the thought of kids growing up! Also when Jeff and him hugged!!
I loved seeing inside of HQ clubhouse! I’d fly all the way from Australia just for a tour of that!

I’d love to hear dance of the clairvoyants at the first Melbourne gig 😬

That was much better than Howard Stern (and I'm a fan of his).

I think you all might be reading a little too much into the Mike thing. He seemed very upbeat during the Howard interview. Some days you're just bored or not feeling it. He wasn't being asked direct questions, so it's not like he's just gonna be smiling the whole time.

I agree. I didn't really sense anything was amiss with Mike.

When they were talking about the reviews, did anyone else automatically think of the Citizen Dick booth scene in Singles - 'A compliment for us is a compliment for you!'

All the Stevies it could have been about and they didn't even mention Stevie Ray Vaughan. Stevie Winwood? Really?

Hey, don't sleep on Steve Winwood. He was part of three different significant classic-rock bands, and he's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Great interview.  Probably the best one I've seen, overall.  Some crazy stuff in that building

Saw him open for Tom Petty. I just have never heard him referred to as "Stevie".

He was in his early teens when he first came to fame with Spencer Davis and that's how he was known then. Be glad you're not old enough to remember this!

It was a golden opportunity for one of them to say, "this band is unstoppable. This weekend, we rock Portland!"

That moment when Ed hugs Jeff is pretty awesome!!  This band has lasted as long as it has because there are no egos in it!  Everyone recognizes everyone as an equal.  Pretty cool to see all the love in this interview!  Well done Zane!!
I think so too, it was very emotional! Wow, I would love to spend a few hours in this headquarters and take a close look at everything...

I gasped when he mentioned Can't Keep!  Love that song! Hope they play it in Portland!

There’s something to be said for signing up like Ed said he asked for to be pushed and not bailing out. I've experienced that and we should all be that lucky.

Great to see HQ - would do anything to see that.

Anyone see the Bill Simmons video podcast with Ed and Jeff? I'm not a fan of Bill Simmons and Ed seemed to be right there with me.

Ohhhh man. I just watched this. So fucking beautiful. I'm so glad they did this interview. Absolutely amazing. It felt so much like single video theory. Tears in my eyes.
