Looks like they got the tea towels right so they can display properly while hanging over something.

I am meeting a friend I've sat next to at Pearl Jam shows for 25 years for dinner tonight in NY.  He's from Boston for David Gilmour at MSG. I cant wait to talk about tea towels.

Not a huge fan of either poster. Will be a game time decision on whether or not to buy when they hit the 10C shop.
    So yes.

Flying tomorrow and going straight to the merch stand. You guys think the event shirts and hoodies will be sufficiently stocked the day before? I won't make it before 2 I'd say.

Its a worry when you can tell the quality of the Event shirt and the Tawhina shirt is NOT good, even through a screen. Wash a few times and that neck opening is a large as the bottom of the shirt

I'm wondering about a typo/spelling mistake there. Design looks like a taniwha. Never learned the word tawhina in school but I was at the arse end of Gen X so could be a thing-unfamiliar to me though.

I think you're right.  Taniwha, not tawhina.

Also - is it usual they'd do 2 different posters for the same event?

Not usual for NZ eh. Hell in 98 they just had the one Ames Bros poster (wish they were on sale again and didn't cost a kidney).

I kinda like them but not sure if waiting for night 2 ones would be better.

I had both the 98 poster and the 95 fireworks one (that cost maybe $5?) but subsequently lost them both in house moves over the years.

If you can’t see it, it doesn’t mean it isn’t real. If you can feel it, it is as real as the blood that runs in our veins.

The idea is inspired from the release of Dark Matter and the lyrics which prompted me to create this double image of the circulatory system to make up the shape of a guitar. Illustrated with native birds and Pohutukawa of New Zealand to manifest these expressive lyrics of seeing, feeling and breathing.

“Steal the light from our eyes. Drain the blood from my heart. We’re in all of this Dark Matter”. - @pearljam

I really wanted to reveal this awesome glow in the dark element to the poster, illustrating a kiwi bird with wings as a metaphor to portray things we can’t see but do actually exist.

It doesn't seem excellent quality but fine. I think it's just a bit weird because I'm not sure what it's referencing really. Still got one. 🤣 But the print feels like it might not hold up.
