WMMR in Philly is playing Waiting for Stevie multiple times per day if you go to their "On Air" list https://wmmr.com/stream/WMMRFM

Having said that, I've never heard it on there since I barely listen to terrestrial radio anymore... :)

I see that WFS is #13 on "Active Rock" this week per Mediabase:  https://www2.mediabase.com/mbapp/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=/mbapp/&hc=339c174d-dc68-4aa1-bb22-5e4ffa4bf6fa

Up 4 spots from last week.

Philly rocks! Cool they are playing it many times a day.

Still haven't heard this incredible song on the local radio stations. :/
"Wreckage" hit number one at multiple formats and, still, the only time I have heard it on the radio was in Seattle within 15 minutes of leaving the airport in my rental car after coming to town to see the May shows. Last week, I just missed it by about 15 minutes on KCSN in L.A.

Yeah I've heard Wreckage a few times this week. Great to hear new PJ tunes on the radio. But still no Waiting For Stevie.

I can't even remember the last time I listened to FM radio; they've played wfs plenty of times on sirius channel 22!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

We hear FM radio on the site all the time @ work. Hopefully I get to hear it played on any local "rock" radio station here.

Waiting for Stevie - it's a modern anthemic classic

I always liked this song, but didn't pay it as much attention as others as I was wrapped up in the whole album and prepping for the upcoming concerts etc, but after listening to them play it live in Auckland and re-listening to it multiple times since, I firmly believe it's up there with any of their biggest hits.

I'm happy to be challenged on that, as everyone has their own opinions and not everyone likes the big, bombastic sound and repetetive anthem-like chorus, but to me it's a new "Alive" or "Daughter".

It makes my spine tingle. It fills me with joy to listen to. It's the band at the peak of their powers again, in my humble opinion.

Happy to hear fellow Jammers' thoughts on this.

Nice! We need Stone to start writing anthems again too.

It really is a top tier song in the catalog.  I was lucky to see this song live three times this year.  Absolutely LOVE it.

Mileage varies. For me, it's a bottom-tier song on Dark Matter.

I'd be interested to see your tiers for Dark Matter.

    For me, it goes:

Top tier:  React / Respond, Running, Got To Give, Setting Sun, Waiting For Stevie
Mid tier:  Upper Hand, Dark Matter, Scared Of Fear, Won't Tell, Something Special
    Low tier:  Wreckage

But... I never skip Wreckage when I listen to the album, because all of the tracks uplift each other.  That's a magical a beauty of the Dark Matter album.

Probably something like (and please bear in mind that I think this is a truly great album, there are no bad songs here-- I'm grouping them into tiers for purposes of this request, but the middle tier would be the best songs on 75 percent of other albums, and the bottom tier would be the best songs on 50 percent of other albums):

    Top:

    "Wreckage"
    "Got To Give"
    "Scared of Fear"
    "Won't Tell"

    Middle:

    "Setting Sun"
    "React, Respond"
    "Dark Matter"
    "Upper Hand"

    Bottom:

    "Running"
    "Something Special"
    "Waiting for Stevie"

(I tried to put an equal number of songs in each tier to the extent that it is possible to do that with eleven songs and three tiers. If I were doing it like you did, I'd probably move "Setting Sun" and "React, Respond" up to the top tier and "Running" to the middle tier, so there would be six in the top tier, three in the middle tier and two in the bottom tier.)

So happy to hear this at Melbourne 2. Didn’t quite get the crowd reaction I was hoping for, it was a good reaction, but not great. Just re-watched the clip and it RIPS!
