I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

Great interview! I was impressed with Andrew Watt on Ed's Earthling album and figured he could help them out with their next record.
It sounds like he was just what the band needed to make a great record. Come on Friday!

    Great interview!! Thanks for posting!

Also, an absolute Hall of Fame sentence from the writer of this piece

"Watt was too busy learning to crawl and eat solid food to appreciate their initial burst of success in the early Nineties, but he became a die-hard, obsessive fan as a teenager in the 2000s. "

Excellet! Some (not me) may criticize his production, but you can't deny his enthusiasm. Great read!

Awesome stuff. Loved the story about Stone listening to Matt and getting Dark Matter started. Sounds like they all had fun!

I've waited my whole life to hear this album.  Among other things.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

I’ll take inspired material with an iffy mix over iffy material with good production 100 times out of 100.
Also, based on past history we’ll probably get a BoB remix in 2031 or so anyway

  • The Avocado production is sacrilege. Only owned the 2017 remix so I didn't realize how bad the production was until I heard Inside Job on PJ Radio

Agreed. Possibly best PJ production next to Yield Vitalogy Gigaton (yeah I'm being serious).
