While Paul Simon retired from touring in 2018, he’s not actually done playing shows, and he’s now announced his “A Quiet Celebration Tour.” The shows will feature the live debut of his 2023 album Seven Psalms, and according to a press release, they’re happening “in intimate venues where the acoustics are optimal in consideration of the severe hearing loss that he incurred over the last few years.” Most cities have multiple nights, and you can see all dates below.

I was thinking of checking out the Beacon. I saw him for the Graceland tour and he has so many good songs. I have a few presale codes. I may give it a try. I expect that tickets will be pricey though.
Did you end up going for it?!? I had great seats carted for 2 nights in Vancouver and just couldn’t do it for $680/pair. There are still decent seats sitting so apparently I’m not the only one who got sticker shock. If the VIP seats up front don’t sell and drop to standard price eventually I might reconsider.
My friend's boyfriend is working on the tour. He is a sound guy. She said there was a good chance I could get in with them. She just can't guarantee until the week of the show to find out how may tickets he can get. So, I am holding off buying tickets, and if she ends up not being able to get one for me, I will see what is available closer to the show dates.

The VIP seats already started switching to standards for the regular sale today. Just couldn’t pass these up 😮
Should be plenty more where those came from slowly trickling out.

Wow. Amazing seats. I’m still going to wait for my friend since I will want to sit with her. But good to know.

Man, not playing near my neighborhood.

    May travel, but I'll see.

Have to see him just in case this is the last time?

    Thanks for the Info.

If he is somewhat close, you go. Lucky enough to see and the horse last year and I am beyond grateful.

My friend just told me about this, and I was looking at the Tour schedule and he's not anywhere close to me (I live near Philly). Hell, not even NYC this Tour.

MAYBE he'll come back around in the Fall/Winter?

    Thanks for the Info.

And yet another Band not playing anywhere close to me (Philly).

I don't know the whole catalog, but I wouldn't mind checking out Pixies if they were playing close to home. Oh well.

Pixies are playing two shows in Philly on July 22 & 23. They are playing album shows one night and a regular set the other.

I am too lame to post the actual line-up poster, but Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta is probably the best festie line-up that has been announced for this year.

Reconstituted Pantera is going out with dates in between openers for metallicas tour.
saw headlining set last year at sonic temple.

going to try to see if I can make this work.
