I'm shocked the MSG seats are still there at the $500 ish price point.  I've had thoughts about pulling the trigger on the $400 philly seats but may wait for one more drop.  $300-400 would be worth it to not have to waste time on F2F, especially for Philly.
slowly selling.  MSG 1 had 190 tickets available this morning.  As of now their is 165.
Where did you happen to see the total ticket inventory count?

The MSG premiums are far lower than the stubhub market for similar seats so good luck to people who managed to get them.

When Baltimore first dropped premiums last week there was one ticket at $274 that got picked up pretty quick.

And the section119s sold immediately at the lower price. “Deals” like this never seen before at msg, hopefully even better prices soon. If drops to $420 it’s cheaper than any out of town show.

Still a few $576 left around section 102. Surprised they lasted at $576. TM cost themselves a lot of $$ (!!) by not selling these earlier. $800 lowers were sold quickly back in the spring, and then they got greedy with $1000 prices.

Also strange how they price things. Right now there are seats ten rows apart and the pricing spread is about $300 like $570 vs $850. If we’re talking fifth row vs 15th sure, but not whenseats are four sections from stage. Don’t get how that “fair market” model is working

Is someone getting TM kickbacks for stirring up FOMO anxiety so folks buy? Poor TM leaving money on the table for the fans..

Kidding of course, but while I see the rationale of comparing the additional costs to an out of town show for NYers, I would in no way call ANY of these premium tickets a “deal” for anybody.

I might be able to swallow some of these premium prices for a sold out MSG show.. supply vs demand and all that.. but the fact is that these shows are only being advertised as sold out to manipulate us. I just wish we knew how many tickets were truly left lol.

Either way I’m confident I can spend premium ticket money the week/day of the show if needed and still find my way in the building. At least I’ll know what true market value is at that time.

Yeah, I wish we could outlaw this premium ticket thing. It's crazy how many tickets they don't sell - not just the first few rows in the building, or GA, or whatever. But tons of seats across all sections just artifically held back to be sold at 4x face value......It's gotten so insanely out of control over the past decade

Theoretically the premium priced tickets are keeping the prices down for the regular tickets. I just don’t understand the premium prices for the 400 level seats at Wrigley, those shouldn’t even be $190, they are already below face on StubHub. I see a bunch of 400 level seats on the fan exchange for the premium prices, I feel bad for those people who bought those since they would be lucky to get $125 back on StubHub and they spent $400.

Im wondering if ticketmaster is holding alot of MSG tickets back as of now.  The side sections (116-119, 105-108) were never part of the 10C sale and stubhub doesnt have many for sale.  Just my theory that we might see alot of premiums go up in the next 2 weeks.

I have a spare MSG 2 GA that im holding out for a good trade as these tickets get released.

They sold out though. If they were overpriced, people wouldn't buy them. See Tottenham & Barcelona.

Either way I’m confident I can spend premium ticket money the week/day of the show if needed and still find my way in the building. At least I’ll know what true market value is at that time.

MSG would sell out in a second. Let’s take them at their word that they held back 10% for premium. Would have been nice had they insisted TM be more transparent about premium tickets instead of making it look like it was closer to 1% for months to create FOMO when they held prices at $1000+. That’s on the band.

Driving to Philly is 280 miles for me. Cost per mile is  $0.67 plus tolls plus hotels plus five hours driving. That is significant cost.

Fans clamor for that $190 F2F score, and will spend a hundred hours plus with their F5. That’s a hell of a lot more “expensive” for fans who may value their time doing something more productive or more enjoyable.

There are a TON of MSG sect 119 rows 16 to 19 on stub hub now for prices ranging from $750 to $900 including fees

those are likely the recent ticket drop. If so, the brokers are willing to buy at $500-580 to still think they’ll make a profit. Unreal.

Scalpers. They are scalpers. Digital age scalpers. Referring to them as “brokers” only legitimizes their scumbagery. They are a bunch of Mike Damones with computers.
