Definitely one of their best. It's like poetry.

I think this is an absolute masterpiece of a song. Could be one of the bands most underrated songs. Absolute gem of a song

Love it live! As mentioned, especially on the 2000 boots.

Not so much into the studio version.

When I finally caught it at OKC in 2022 it changed my opinion on the song.  Ed talked about it and it really hit home on life after 2020.  A mere 22 years after release it became an instant favorite and powerful song for me.

I love this song and Ed at his best lyrically.  Only heard it live once.

The song sounded 'off' to me when Binaural first came out, but then I remember cleaning my apartment with that House of Blues stream they did through the.. ??Real Media player?? in, like '03 or something and everything about it just "clicked."  Been lucky enough to hear it a couple times live. The first time I did, on the Riot Act tour, it near cleared out the pavilion, sending everyone on a beer/bathroom run, and I was just like "Y'all dont get it!"
Damn, that is sad.  It is so powerful.

100% agreed. Was listening to Binaural yesterday. The whole album is SO good and this song is at the top. What a shame it gets so little love.
OK so we're talking about Binaural as a whole now. . . told my friends in 2009 during Philly Spectrum closer week, Binaural was my favorite.  They were flabbergasted.  It remains my fav.  To each his own though.

To me this song is like watching paint dry when they play it live.  Not my cup of tea.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

It's my white whale song.  63 shows and......nothing.  Hoping I get lucky this year.
Here's hoping for you deuce and for the rest of us Sleight fans! Lucky enough to catch this one at Montreal 2011 and Denver 2014. That's from memory so I'd best doublecheck.  Love the Binaural album too.
