When are the going to let the rest of us plebs in to view tickets?
There is no general onsale.
The presale doesn’t last forever it’s only design is to control traffic. Evetually it opens up to everyone.
In 2023, for the rescheduled MSG show, it did not open up to everyone. You needed to have received a verified fan code to buy face value tix that were dropped. Of course, you were allowed to buy premium tix - I remember a pair of $5k seats - 1st row off the floor in either sect 105 or 106.
OMG! that was excruciating! I managed to finally get one ticket for LA KIA night 1 for $344!!!! I the seats were evaporating before my eyes. I can't believe this.
Thats how they get you.
Capitalism definitely takes advantage of the fact that a very significant portion of consumers are just not savvy. I've actually gained some empathy for people after wading through these threads this week because life is a lot harder when you don't have practical knowledge about how things and systems work.
@BF25394, no need to be snarky. The reason I asked is because I got tickets for both Chicago shows that were emailed from Ticketmaster, not Ten Club. I never got a notification from Ten Club like they usually send (& said they would send per the instructions). Then I got a code, but it came over an hour after the sale started so only shitty seats were available. If I was able to get both, I was going to give tix to my sister, since Chicago tickets are transferrable. Not complaining, just wanted clarification. I've seen over 40 shows in 4 countries, so it's not my first rodeo. I have the belt buckle to prove it.
@ME10280 I wasn't being snarky, nor was I even referencing anything you said. I was responding specifically to people panicking in response to artificial scarcity and paying premium prices when there will be plenty of cheaper tickets available later. When I said I have empathy for consumers who are not savvy, I wasn't being sarcastic. I actually mean it.
No problem. I think I misread it. I also realized after that you weren't responding to me...it was a repost. Frankly, I don't have a leg to stand on. I only put in for 2 shows & I got great seats for both! I guess it pays off to be a member for so long...since 1998.
It was said earlier, they need to play MetLife. This has to be the eye opener that they can and need to play more stadium shows, at least in NY/NJ and other densely populated areas.
Now that the Verified Fan blockade has come down (at least for Philly) and I could get in without a code, I grabbed two seats for Night 2 in Section 222A at the back corner of the stage. Not ideal, of course, but relieved to be in the building.
Hoping the F2F will eventually get me into Night 1.

This is not exactly the same as what's happening here-- someone who can afford it paying premium prices under artificial duress-- but there are a lot of data that show that poor people often remain poor because the stress and day-to-day anxiety caused by being poor leads them to make short-sighted economic decisions (for example, payday loans with exorbitant interest rates) or otherwise exercise bad judgment in ways that are self-defeating. Some people believe that poor people are poor because they have bad character or limited intellectual ability. I am empathetic because I know that's generally not true. Some of that is informing what I was saying here, too.
And then there's just a general question of savviness among consumers, even ones who aren't poor or under artificial duress. A couple of years ago, my parents were in the market for a car and I was trying to give them some tips about how to approach the process. My mom mostly refused to listen to any of this advice because her attitude is "you pay the price it says on the sticker." I had a hard time getting her to understand that most people negotiate that price down. That's more analogous to people here who refused to believe some of the advice the Ten Club gave before the lottery, like selecting all options* or contacting your bank to give a heads-up about anticipated charge.
*I get that some perfectly savvy consumers felt this was ambiguous.
Fenway was pretty easy. Took 10-15 minutes to get out of the queue and there was OK seats around. I picked ones right next to the Green Monster, as I've sat all over Fenway for shows and wanted a different perspective
Yeah it’s all just premiums right now but part of that is to scare you into thinking that it’s almost sold out. Those prices will come down and more standard tix will show up randomly.

Amen. I mean, good point.
Agreed. Not everyone can pay attention to everything. My very smart and business savvy friend screw this up- didn't realize 10 Club and TM registrations were to different sales. Didn't help that he was on a work call while doing this. So he "scored" some crappy LA seats today instead of less crappy 10 Club seats. And so many things are like this these days it can be hard to keep it all straight. It's lame and kind of lame of PJ not to make this abundantly clear that most or all good seats today were going to be super expensive.

People are buying the $900 before seats right off the floor. Just saw a pair disappear before my eyes. Hard to believe people pay $1000 for 2 hours of music.

Some of this could be Ticketmaster fuckery to try to get people to buy other high priced tickets before they are “gone” too.

As I continuously remind myself, we are all here for one common cause and it's a cause that brings us all joy....a band we adore.
The whining and complaining has exceeded incomprehensible levels. Why do you care what someone spends on a ticket?
Next thing you'll say is GA should be cheaper than 300 levels because its harder to take a leak.
The market is the market is the market. I'd love to see the spending habits of members doing all this complaining.....Yeesh.
Life is waaaaaay to short, Positive thoughts people, positive thoughts.
Now let me go throw 2k on black so I can buy Premium tix for Vegas.
Same for PDX (but I already had tickets), got email late today about being able to get in with code. Didn’t try. Crazy that 2 Seattle shows were closed out, and PDX wasn’t.
