will the prices for pj premium go down later in the day if no one buys them?  i keep seeing same prices for Philly
Later in the year. Like the week of the show. They'll only go up in the meantime.
ah ok, thought maybe later in the day.  I mean they have 2nd level seats for Philly over $600. who the heck is gonna pay that for 2nd level?

    what a fun process
For Philly? Someone probably will. I just wish they'd post here for public ridicule.

I got a code for the show I already got 10c for. So that was a bummer. Was hoping for the 2nd MSG show. At least I'm going to one.

I never, ever, ever get picked for Verified Fan. When I got tix for LA through 10C I told my friend, I guarantee I'm gonna get picked for Verified Fan. I was right.

Did Fenway use the MLB Page or Ticketmaster?  How did people fare with that sale?

  • Just unexpectedly got removed from waitlist and sent a code for Fenway 9/17. Bought 3 in Grandstand 20, but it seemed like there were a lot still available. Just fyi for anyone hoping.

Word of caution that while most of the venue sounds pretty good the sound underneath the Grandstand roof is atrocious. I'd rather be outside the building personally.

had had a $700 lower in my cart for msg and was tempted but just out of my commit now range, knowing Stu. Hub will be much more til minutes before show.

it stinks that they refuse to play number of shows to match NE demand, they know and charge market prices yet do nothing about it. Seven shows is most in NE since 2013 and demand is quadruple here vs anywhere else
In their defense playing two shows at Fenway alleviates that by being over 5x the capacity of two shows at MSG. Really don't understand why they don't play any larger venues that exist in NYC besides Ed clearly likes MSG.
Yeah, does Yankee Stadium do concerts?

Would people be happier with MetLife over MSG?

I think a lot of fans are spoiled for the arena shows. I'd rather just have a better chance of everyone getting in the building. And outdoor concerts on a nice summer night are overall a better vibe than MSG in my opinion. Not that MSG doesn't sound a billion times better but that's if you can get in.

There's no way every ticket for MSG behind stage is sold.  Even here, most people are not going to buy all of the 300's behind the stage at the start of the sale.  There has to be tickets for other shows still avail for public sale.  Unless 30%+ are going to be slowly leaked for market value pricing.  Wishful thinking because I don't have any tickets yet.

If I recall correctly, MSG always sells out immediately in less time than it takes me to compose this message, Front stage, side stage, chase, Bridges, seats on the roof, seats in orbit, 500 miles over the roof.  They all go immediately.

Some of us have never seen a face value blue dot ticket since they went on to online ticket sales at MSG. It’s a tougher ticket than Taylor Swift because Taylor has a lot of shows. Pearl Jam just does not play that many shows in the Northeast.. It’s stunning to me that they would waste our time with a verified fan on sale, considering how few tickets are available, and leave off the overwhelming majority of sections. The amount of our time Ticketmaster and Pearl Jam wastes for us is astounding.

looking at many of the reseller sites, there are no rear of stage tickets listed. This leads me to believe they haven’t gone on sale yet. What is the point of having today’s on sale if the majority of sections still available after (after fan club and sports season ticket holders ) aren’t being sold?

Thanks for the warning, never been to Fenway but I grew up going to concerts at Key Arena in Seattle which was notorious for having horrible sound. Is there anything in particular that makes it terrible?

Yeah, I prefer arenas myself.  Or covered outdoor shows, like Alpine Valley.  I just hate rain delays haha.

Something about the roof compresses the dynamic range of the sound coming from onstage. It's like you're inside a tin can kinda. If that makes any sense. And the speakers that they do have underneath those roof sections are super echoey.

Right!?  You would think winning in the lottery would remove you from the verified fan and give that opening to someone else.  I put in for the lottery and verified fan for the two Vegas shows and Missoula.  I won the lottery on the two Vegas shows but not Missoula.  Then I was selected for Vegas night 1 of verified fan, which means nothing to me when all I want is a chance to buy tix to Missoula.  (I know the Missoula 2nd chance sale, but did not want to buy the back end of the floor in a stadium.  Ugh).

OH well, on to Missoula  F2F!

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to think about whether it’s worth it, I guess. Might just put them up on F2F when that’s available

Here's my complaint. Yes, I know it doesn't matter. When I go to join the lobby right at 15 minutes before, and nothing happens. I refresh and refresh for about 90 seconds. Then I second guess myself, go check the email and text message, refresh again, and the join lobby button is there! Why is Ticketmaster playing with my emotions. I'll probably be queued #12,000 once the sale opens. I know, I know, 1st world problems, poor me. Love you all...hope to see you in the merch line!!!

MetLife is horrible. Horribly designed for crowd flow in concourses and parking lots
