I got drawn for GA Pit for the 9/17 show. First time in 25+ years (well, EVER, actually) that I've been drawn for Pit. So I can't miss this. However, we'll have a 3-week-old baby when the show rolls around, so momma can't go. And the only I can go without her kicking my ass is to take either my 8-year-old or 6-year old to the show.

So, question for pit regulars: Will a 6 or 8-year-old boy be okay with me in GA Pit? I have no intentions of being a rail surfer. We'll stand near the back where hopefully there's space. Just want to make sure we won't be jammed in like sardines where he could get hurt. And if they also have large TV screens so he can see, that's a plus.
Chill in the back of the pit (with headphones or earplugs) and he'll be fine.

Via the email Ticketmaster sent out. View seats. There's a little map icon where you can click and view.

Hmmmm....  They must not be all sent yet.  I haven't gotten the "separate email" that was mentioned in the confirmation email.

Headphones work the best with children. Easy on and off. Most children don't enjoy having earplugs in.

Seat 1 is on the right side of the aisle. If you got your ticket confirmation email from Ticketmaster there is a little map that will show you your exact seat location.

I think the F seats are decent and you don't have to worry about poles in the way.

The thing about Fenway is that some of the seats face in random directions. That could work out for someone here because a seat down the third-base line that faces centerfield is terrible for watching a baseball game without contorting yourself, but it's great for viewing a stage that's set up in centerfield. Some Fenway seats are also designed for the size Americans were in 1912, not the super-sized Americans of 2024.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

I'm a couple rows off the field down the RF line both nights F11 and F12.  Not bad in that you're a few feet higher than everyone on the field.  However, I forgot the extended foul ball net goes so far down the line now....watching the shows through a net.

Hey all, I completely F’d up on the presale and missed the opportunity or chance to buy through 10c. I did register for the TM sale and have the chance to buy tickets tomorrow. I was curious to see what tickets prices were thru 10c for GA, P1 or P2, etc just to get a price point. I don’t know if that even matters or what I'm even in for tomorrow, but curious to see what tickets cost were versus what I might see tomorrow (if that even makes sense)??

I’m determined to get to one if not both of these shows! Thanks in advance for any info you can provide!

They take the net down for everything other than Baseball.

I’m not going then. I can’t risk my kid being hit in the face with a flying pick.

G26, 7th row for night 1. Considering I joined 10C back in October I actually expected worse seats lol. I got waitlisted for today's TM presale so I may try to see if I can upgrade through F2F

Night 2 B107 Row EE. Awesome baseball seats! Not to mention only a 4 seat row. My only concern will the sound be doing the ballpark echo behind me?
  • CantKeepmedownCantKeepmedown Portland, Maine Posts: 3,039
B7 row 5 for both nights. Seats pretty far over to the left but that's fine. As long as the sound is good.

I've heard it does a little but mostly if you are in Grandstands (as I will be). This will be my first Fenway concert. I've heard all the complaints about views, sound, obstructions, etc... I'd rather they play TD Garden but what can you do...
