I saw most of the shows in Vegas over the many years I sort of lived there. Absinthe at Caesar's was the funniest live show I ever saw.
Of the Cirque shows, my parents loved O. I didn't love any of them personally, but my favourite would be Mystere. Never saw the Beatles one because I don't like the Beatles. Acts change over the years, so one that was crap might now be good.

Absinthe is actual laugh out loud level stuff. Highly recommend it as well.

I concur. The only show I’ve seen in Vegas and it was great.

Excellent itinerary. Definitely want to hit Peppermill. Missed out on the last U2 trip

Thats a nice itinerary! +1 on the Peppermill. Old school Vegas! One of my favorite places there.
I know the buffet is mostly dead in Vegas, but has anyone had the buffet at The Wynn and would recommend? It looks like it's one of the few places left with a buffet including seafood. We tried the Bellagio a few years ago and were disappointed (no crab legs). Aria used to be a good one, but I don't think it survived Covid.

We had Wynn breakfast buffet included in our package last time we were there and it was awesome. The dinner buffet looks really good too. Note Wynn's location is definitely a vehicle ride away from MGM Grand. These places are farther apart than it looks.

nice itinerary, starting with planet 13. looks pretty similar except doing PJ on N1 and 2. Also staying at Mirage. Fremont/Downtown on Friday

Just did the Wynn buffet in February. It was excellent. Wife crushed a mound of crab legs. Always hard get $75 in value at a buffet but between the seafood/meat carving/caviar it's probably worth it. you're not going anywhere descent for seafood/steak for much less than that for a couple in Vegas

Speaking of Planet13...Used to go there as well. Now prefer NUWU. Not as close to the strip (closer to downtown) and not as flashy, but have found it to be much more chill with very nice employees. They even have an outdoor space for consuming. It is Native owned.

Frank's Tiki Room might also be up your alley. Atomic Liquors if you are downtown and like it classic divey.

Loved the Mob Museum.
If you have a free night (or day, but go at night), check out the casino sign graveyard North of downtown near Cashman Field. It is pure Americana. You have to make reservations in advance and the night time ones sell out because they light up all the signs. I have been 3 times as it is a must do when people come to town.
I go to Vegas 2-3x a year. Love it there. Here are a few places/things I'd recommend
Taco's El Gordo - San Diego folks know. Cheap street tacos. Get the El Pastor Peppermill - Fireside lounge. Bright pink, fire pits and lots of neon. Old school vegas staple. Fremont St - Cheaper, and dirtier than the strip, reminds me of what Vegas used to be like. Its a nice break from the strip.. Free bands and light show every hour. Don't wander too far off Fremont though, it can be pretty sketchy. Golden Nugget and Circa are the nicest casinos. My favorite is the Golden Gate with the dancing dealers Herbs & Rye - Local steakhouse off strip. Great cocktails and 1/2 price steaks during happy hour. Bellagio fountain - gotta check out the show at least once. never gets old to me
Be prepared for sticker shock. The strip is expensive. It can be $15-20 beers/cocktails. Just remember you can always hop into a CVS or ABC store and buy beer and water. For all the expensive places, there are cheap eats if you search around enough. Most of the casinos have the same things (steak house, sushi, italian, bars etc). Its gonna be a similar set up at most places, its not what do you want......its where do you want to do it.
Vegas has the best people watching in the world. Grab a drink and just cruise around. Free entertainment.
Has anyone gambled at El Cortez? It's supposed to have the best blackjack odds. Is it sketchy or whatever?

Good point about the capacity and size. Its only a 2k seat venue. A lot of the theatres for shows like this aren't very big. Always keep that in mind.
