So, on my way to the airport to go to Vegas was a car accident on the interstate with a 3 hour delay.  Flight missed.  While waiting in said traffic jam my coolant hose decided to burst.  Towed back home.  Scheduled flight for the morning after eating original flight.  Don't give up!
I got GA for tomorrow and I damn well will be in that pit.
    Determination! I love it!
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

Jumping in here on this discussion about the PRE-GA line that supposedly is formed off site. Earlier around 1pm I drove by the Arena entrance and there were about 20 people max lined up already. On my way back a few hours later that line was gone which didn’t really surprise me. Lines formed before 4pm on 5/16 won’t be honored. So whoever’s lined up offsite already is essentially wasting their time. No, PJ security isn’t going to be escorting anyone and no that’s not how it has worked at “every other” show. I’ve done many GA shows and I AM someone who lines up early/overnight/camps out. It’s clear they’re enforcing the rule just from reading the email:

Please note: A line numbering system by guests WILL NOT be honored, nor will the venue provide a number system. It is first come, first serve at the time the line queue begins. We ask that you be courteous and respectful to one another. Misconduct between fans and/or towards event staff will not be tolerated. Event management reserves the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with event management rules. The queue for General Admission is subject to weather elements. Please plan accordingly.

We encourage our early arriving guests to visit our numerous Food & Beverage outlets and enjoy your time at MGM Grand prior to lining up for the show.

I didn't notice it when I first got the email, but noticed now that you posted it here, the part about "weather elements." That suggests that the line that forms at 4 p.m. will be outside where it will be in the high 90s. I will save my sweating for when I'm actually in the pit.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Not sure if it was in this thread or elsewhere but thanks to whoever gave the tip about getting the MGM app to skip the check in line.  I’m not yet sure if this will work for me today but I’m definitely giving it a shot!

If you want to see the Sphere while in Vegas Dead and Co tix on Stubhub for are going for less than the movie they show on off days. We sat in the 400 level for U2 and it's a great vantage point.

Any local here with experience in parking for the show tonight?  If I park at MGM, will I be waiting a long time to get out of the garage after the show?  I'm reading OYO is a good alternative spot, anyone park there and walk over?  Does security hassle you for not being a guest of the hotel?  I know TI started hassling people for parking on their lot if they're not guests.  Not trying to come out to a missing/towed car when I have work Friday morning.

Used the app yesterday got all the way to my room and the digital key didn't work on my room door...had to go back to the lobby for physical key.

Use the app to check in and then I would say still go to the lobby and ask for a physical key. Key line was non existent compared to check in line.

Took a cab from the airport. Reasonable price, no line and a courteous driver. Would recommend.

It’s exactly how it’s worked at every other show.

With regards to Las Vegas, numbered wristbands were being distributed as of this morning for those that were lined up. So that’s that.

People who wait on the GA line all day can't lose any money at the MGM....wonder if that's why they are banding people and letting them leave in hope that they will go to the casino and drop some dough.
