Everyone has their tickets loaded into their ticketmaster account now, right? That was sooner than I thought they normally get posted.

Anyone know what the size of the pit is at MGM? I saw pictures of the Vancouver pit and seemed smallish. curious if it will be similar

I’m N2 and they don’t seem fully loaded- no barcode/transfer to wallet?

Anyone local or familiar with the area have any good advice on nearby hiking? We did Red Rock Canyon last time we were there and I am looking into Lake Mead and Valley of Fire State Park. Would love to see some Joshua Trees if there is a good trail at either of those places.

You could check out Mount Charleston, will probably still be snow on the ground, but temps should be in the high 60's/low 70's.  Cathedral Rock and Mary Jane Falls are good ones.  I'd say Lee Canyon/Bristlecone trail would be great, but there will definitely be snow all over that trail (a little higher in elevation compared to Mount Charleston).  My favorite hike in Red Rock is Guardian Angel Pass, then heading down the other side and around Calico Hills to make a loop, overall about 4.5 miles and no fee.  Also Kraft Mountain Loop is a good one (no fee).  Valley of Fire is great, but mostly short hikes.  I don't think this trail will be open by the time the show happens, but Gold Strike Hot Springs trail by Lake Mead is one of the top 3 hikes in Vegas area.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Checked the 10 day forecast, since now we are within that window 😀 and the prediction is for high temps to be upper 90’s. Yikes!
Good thing it’s a dry heat….packs sun hat, sun glasses, swim suit and SPF’s…

Valley of Fire is awesome. A crazy amount of geological diversity packed into a small space. Highly recommend.
