  • I remember talking to a guy at Oakland shows in 2022 and he was in the hundreds, if only I could go back to being a teenager in early 90's and start seeing this band, but I digress.  I'm at 9, hope to get to both Wrigley, maybe Philly this year.  Let's just say ideally I'm at least 11 after this run of shows.
    2013 Wrigley
2016 MSG 1,2 Wrigley 1,2, Temple of Dog in LA
    2017 RRHOF, Eddie at Ohana
    2018 Wrigley 1,2
    2022 Oakland 1,2

I'm at 30 shows.   Plus 3 EV solo shows and 2 Earthlings shows.

    Vancouverx2 will make 32 shows.

I usually get eyerolls when I tell other people how many times I've seen PJ.  It's just that if you go 2 or 3 shows when they are in your hood, it adds up after 25+ years :)

Hoping to get at least 3 in to make it to 30 this year. Realized I’ve seen EV another 20+ times (solo, charity, etc) so rounding out 50 PJ-related shows.

I remember talking to a guy at Oakland shows in 2022 and he was in the hundreds, if only I could go back to being a teenager in early 90's and start seeing this band, but I digress.  I'm at 9, hope to get to both Wrigley, maybe Philly this year.  Let's just say ideally I'm at least 11 after this run of shows.
I don't know how many people were really racking up shows in the early '90s and, of those who were, how many kept doing it as they and the band aged. It's not that easy to travel to shows as a teenager-- at least it wasn't for me. It didn't even occur to me to do that even if I had had the money to do it, which I didn't. Nor did I have a car. I had only been on an airplane once when I saw my first PJ show at age 18 in April 1994. I was in college and an acquaintance mentioned that he might have an extra ticket for one of the Boston Garden shows. I begged him for it. He eventually agreed, but he wanted me to pay double face-value for it. I agreed even though that meant I would be out an unfathomable fifty dollars.

By my 25th birthday in 2000, I had seen "only" seven PJ shows (three more in 1996 and three in 1998). In 2000, as a gainfully employed adult unencumbered by children, I saw them nine times in 13 days between Massachusetts and Maryland to run the total to 16 shows. Now it sits at 70, with plans to hit at least ten shows on the first leg this year.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

    26.  Hopefully 29 after this year.  Wrigley shows shouldn't be a problem and hoping to get lucky for Philly.
  • At 43 PJ now, 4 EV and 1 Mirroball. Will do 2x Barca and hopefully 2 x Seattle this year.

I’m typically only able to catch one show per tour. If I get my tickets for this one, it’ll be number 11.

    Good luck everybody!
