For shows that have three ticket options, e.g. Philly, did you guys check all three boxes? I'm confused as to why the top option - GA Pit or Reserved P1 - Standing or Seating - does not also include Reserved P2 - Seating. I don't want to check Reserved P2 - Seating if that hurts my chances of getting GA or Reserved P1.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but....no, checking P2 does not hurt your chances of scoring GA or P1. If you don't get selected during the distribution of GA and P1 tix then you extend your changes of getting in the buidling by having also checked the P2 box
Checking P2 does not hurt your chances at GA/P1. You are right that it gives you one more shot at getting in the building. The only ones I checked P2 for were MSG. I can use fan to fan to get what I want at other shows.
My ticket to see U2 at the Sphere this month (which was worth every penny) pretty much wiped out concert budget for now. But at least the seats were amazing. I can’t say the same would be guaranteed by Ten Club. Passing on this tour. Can’t wait to hear the album.
Seeing U2 at the Sphere is a pretty awesome replacement!
What is the general consensus on how to best enter for MSG? GA & P1 alone or GA/P1 and P1 reserved as well?
Neither my husband nor I have ever won a NYC show (even though we live in the tri-state area)
My number is lower, should I put in for both options and have him just put in for option 1? Debating how to have the best odds at actually getting MSG 10club tix for the first time ever since the lottery was instituted.

For MSG, both of you should put in for both shows with all boxes checked. Best case scenario, you are in the building for both nights and can attempt to upgrade through fan to fan if needed. You will have no problems getting rid of a pair you do not want/need for MSG.

Click everything. New York has a huge population in itself and the surrounding area. That's a craptonne of people trying to get tickets to an arena show. Doesn't New York having something like 28 million people that live within a 100 mile radius? The venue I'm going to in Vancouver, my whole province only has 5 million people, the next biggest Canadian City is 1000km away. The odds are not in your favor with the population to seating capacity ratio :(

Does only picking one show, increase chances by having just the one request?
They’re not as clear now about how the lotteries work as they used to be, but the answer is almost certainly “no.” But that won’t stop people who only put in for one east coast show and don’t get it from complaining about how others got tickets for three shows in smaller markets.

Sad 732xxx number here. I'm (hopefully) checking in for 1st. Berlin and London and see a lot of you guys there. I would have liked to add Barcelona and/or Madrid to the list, but unfortunately half of the European shows fall in the middle of the school vacations and I'll be traveling with the family.
Give me Vancouver, or I may unleash a full family at the other venues. You've been fucking warned, 10C
My gut tells me Vancouver might be one of the easier places to get tickets on the tour. Seattle shows are weeks after the Vancouver show. It minimizes people try to connect Vancouver and Seattle for a run of shows. The only show in driving distance is Portland. When there are Seattle shows the demand for Vancouver is usually pretty low. You don't get as much migration from people in Washington State coming north. In 2013 they didn't fill the pit, and ran a 2nd lotto to fill it up. Historically there's been a very noticeable difference in ticket demand in years there was a Seattle show and years there wasn't.
We've asked a few friends if they want to come using 10c tickets we may get. No problem for the Saturday show, but not so much for the Monday show. I'm actually mildly concerned if we aren't able to find more friends to come with us for the Monday show, it might be hard try to move pairs on fan2fan.
I think Monday might have really low demand. That's my gut feeling. Overall I think Vancouver might end up being one of the easier places to get tickets for. It's the opposite of Seattle shows most of the time.
I agree - I'm honestly a little concerned for PJ for the Monday Vancouver show, lol. I'm worried they will really struggle to sell tickets and that there will be obvious multitudes of empty seats. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm wrestling with myself between 1 show in Manchester or spending more on 2 shows in berlin with chance of better placed tickets....If I stick to Manchester (the sensible choice) it'll be the first time i've only seen one show on a PJ tour Think i've ruled out London, unless I can get a GA ticket in the TM sale.

None at this time. I've been lucky enough see them the last 3 years (Ohana, OKC & FTW2), but we may try to find tickets down the road. Closing on our next house in about a month, so definitely better to wait.
For anyone who had previously gotten tickets in Europe and then had to sell....was that process avail through Fan2Fan and was it smooth? Asking as I might be able to hit a show but it depends on a work trip that I won't know for sure until march. So I'd like to put in for them and then have an easy way to unload for cost if I end up having to. I know there were some issues with canadian fans that bought US tickets I think?
As i understand it, you'll only be able to list them for sale if you have a bank account or debit card in that country.
I went through this with a Tool ticket for Dublin 2 years ago... i couldn't resell through TM as I didn't have an Irish bank account, so I ended up doing a private sale I lined up through reddit. I don't know that a private sale will work with these PJ tickets if they're non-transferrable.

Wrigley x 2. Rule this time around was “reasonable driving distance”. That plus Fenway in May and Foo Fighters in July taxed my disposable resources.
After careful consideration and conversation with the home front, I have backed off and I am only trying for the Saturday Wrigley show. I am fine with just getting in, so I am not overly concerned about tickets. Anyone familiar with the Hilton Magnificent Mile Suites?

Thanks, that is what I suspected. May have to skip and just find tickets later if it works out

ive stayed there twice around Christmas time, really nice hotel in my experience. Close to Magnificent mile, some restaurants. If i remember correctly, you park in the John Hancock building across the street but they may have changed that. Check in and check out are both digital and your key in on your phone. I even got to pick my room when I checked in the day before online
