    There is a black pressing

Isn't that the Triceratops droppings color

But the effect is quite cool. What is that effect called? Are there any released albums using that color effect? It's not marble or smokey....

I have a couple records with this gold, glimmery sheen effect. If it's the same one, they are beautiful in person. One of the ones I have is That's How Rumors Get Started by Margo Price. Either way, people gonna find something to bitch about(10C typical).
Would look cool in a more orange colour picked from the cover/label.

Maybe there's green used in the gatefold or back that makes pukegreen a good choice. But it still looks like something the Joker would fall into in a Batman-movie directed by Tim Burton. I would not be surprised if it looks cooler in real life though.

For the 10C variant it works out to $86.00 Canadian with shipping.

Hard pass. (will try for the RSD release.)

Mine was $89.27 CDN from 10club.

    Even worse.

My local shops needs the sale way more than 10Club does (for half the price.)

There's an all-black pressing available in the 10C store. I'm guessing that'll also be the standard version sold elsewhere, as usual.

This seems to be a US only release (it’s not listed on the UK RSD site). So importing from US sites will be the only option.

So I wouldn't be able to go to my local record store and pick it up like I did last year for 'Give Way 1998'?

No unfortunately not in the UK. Plenty of online stores like Rough Trade US ship to the UK though and I’m sure it won’t be hard to get

I so prefer the 10c variant but would be considerably cheaper going for the RSD release (UK). Im sure some stores will stock it but also not worried - there will be plenty online for this drop.

Wouldn't be surprised if 10C drops the RSD vinyl that weekend.

That’s better than “limited to 500” where 99.9% of people wanting it can’t get it.

There is a black vinyl pressing (I think they're calling it the Black Hole Black pressing). Just a reminder about the color vinyl sound myth: Black vinyl is colored vinyl. Oh, and vinyl doesn't sound better than hi-res lossless digital. It just sounds different. It's a novelty, especially if it's a digital source on an analog medium.

  • As ugly as that RSD variant is I'm going to hopefully get it.  I ordered the 10 Club version for $86 CAD, but they allowed me to cancel it after thinking about the absurd cost.
