Dublin Ticket Price

I know, I know; I hate to be that guy but €180 for Ten Club ticket prices???

Is that the actual price? Is there anyway around that apart from waiting for GA tickets to go on sale?
Genuinely can't believe it.

  • Yeah, also quite rattled by these prices.    Are general sale tickets normally cheaper then?   Seems like they’ve got that the wrong way round if so….

hasn't the tenclub tickets often been like a tiny-tiny bit more expensive but nothing big or anything to write home about.

  • Yes, it has, but I presumed that was because they were in dollars possibly. Was only about £10 I think though

Just so I am clear, 10 Club members can only put in for the Golden Circle, correct? (Obviously we can enter for Ticketmasters general sale too, but from 10 Club, its only the front, yeah?

I think with 10c pre sale it's a random lottery (not based on 10c seniority) but if selected the tickets will be either golden circle or good seats.  I'm just confused a bit . Could we get selected for seats in the pre sale and no GA??

Do we think this will sell out. Hate the idea of registering for the general sale as I always miss out and placed on the wait list.

  • I think Ticketmaster are trying to build up hype with the registration thing. Almost 180 Euro is seriously expensive. I would imagine a lot will skip at that price.
  • I thought €180 was for a pair of tickets.  The price point for Ten Club members is way too high.

the shows are still packed. until we all collectively say NO MORE. then prices will continue to rise.

The insane prices are obviously why they decided to allow single tickets to be sold this time. 360 for a pair-could practically get a week holiday for that!

You are spot on with the registration thing. There have been many shows recently that have had extra shows added even before tickets have been on sale. Probably down to multiple accounts requesting access to the sales.

The concert market is basically turning into a situation where the only feasible way to see live performances is by going to festivals. Tickets are still outrageous but at least you get to see multiple bands.

I've looked into seeing Tool, Ringo Starr, Lil' Wayne, Noah Kahan, Metallica, Tyler Childers, The National......all well over $100, most over $150 and some over $200. I can't justify that for a random show in Indianapolis or Columbus.

I got single day tickets to Bourbon & Beyond for roughly $150 and Tyler Childers, MMJ, The National, The War on Drugs, The Beach Boys, Lucious, Dinosaur Jr...etc will all be there that day and the way they stagger their lineups it allows you to see all of the bigger bands.

You're better off paying $3-$500 and doing a multi-day fest than spending half that money to see one band.

Coldplay tickets were incredibly expensive too for
Croke Park.  They got the pricing point completely wrong here imo.  Almost 350 for 2 tickets is not great. Plus all general admission too. Its the nature of the beast in 2024 unfortunately.
    .

i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

  • I registered but am in two minds whether to keep it or delete it.  To add to that, if I keep it and GA ends up being cheaper I'll be absolutely ragin'.  In Marlay Park there really is no difference between 'golden circle' or GA...

e180 to stand in a field - have we lost the run of ourselves altogether!  =)

Some one mentioned that the tickets will be 117e on TM. Not sure how true that is and that would be just for GA, not the golden circle.
