An Evening With

Guessing if they go back to baseball stadium capacity shows (35k people or more) we’d see the longer setlists. But with a new album to support soon and more city stops, wouldn’t be surprised if they kept it shorter in hopes they could complete a full leg.0

I wish an evening with pearl jam and my morning jacket from 2006 would return. The best an eving withs"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

It seems like it. 2022 and 2023 tours seem to have gone back to the 2h to 2h30m setlists. Feels like the age of 3hour+ barn burners is over :(I'm guessing its due to age. Some band members are probably again better than others. We knew the day would come, but I do miss the 3hour+ barn burner era0

2013 and 2014 had openers too. An evening with PJ would not change a thing with setlist lengths. They can play longer now even with the openers and they are choosing not to get on stage until later.0

Bring out Deep Sea Diver again.Great atmosphere as openers. To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

I think we got ours, as they had a thing in the online shop if you bought other stuff they pitch them in for free. They must have had leftovers from their original purpose?

Can’t for the life of me recall which show it was at but the band invited the organization out on tour to raise awareness and funds. They weren’t at the CDN shows and a couple of friends missed out so when I spotted them at the next US show I approached and asked about a couple earplugs. The director of the organization was the woman I actually spoke with and she asked if I would consider a $25 donation for them and I said sure. I expected a handful or fewer but she proceeded to count out 25 earplugs she tossed into a ziplock before handing them over me - I was quite appreciative. I was popular handing them out.
