Anyone know what this means for a potential Sacramento tour date re: radius riders?

I don’t know what it means for radius, but I do know I will be skipping this one.  Logistics are bad as far as I can tell.  Have fun though whoever makes it there.

So tempting. I have never seen Stevie perform, and of course PJ would be great. Just don't care about most of the other acts, which is why I dislike most festivals. It is so close to me, as well. Gonna be a difficult decision.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

Get the single day ticket with PJ and hope that MMJ or QotSA are on the same bill.  I also see that Chevy Metal is on the list...which was headed by Taylor Hawkins as a 70's rock cover band...Dave Grohl sitting in?  I believe guys from QotSA have been part of it as well.  I imagine they would be awesome to see....way down on the list of bands though--sneaker group.

I don't understand why anyone would drop a bunch of coin to go to this if the rumored Sacramento make up show indeed happens.

Maybe if you lived in Napa?  Festivals are mediocre usually and this one is particularly hassle filled-not many roads leading in or out-arriving is bad...leaving is miserable.  With that said, if it was closer to me (I am in Sacramento), I would pop in to see the guys play their highlights.

Yeah, I'll never understand why they decided to do a festival on Memorial Day weekend starting on one of the worst traffic days of the year.

Traffic isn’t their problem.  I assume the organizers of bottle rock made them an offer they couldn’t refuse to appear there.  It’s pretty easy to understand why they would do it.  It’s harder to understand why anyone would subject themselves to that event.  But, people do it and nobody is forcing them to.  So it’s a win win.

I didn't know about the Sacramento show. Honestly, a big draw for me is actually Stevie Nicks. I have never seen her and no one is getting any younger. That said, my hate for long festivals is great.

I will tell you @darthvedder....the amount of wine that is poured and consumed at this three day tech bro fest is something to behold.  The wine (and not the tech bros) is probably calling out to EdVed like a light to a moth....the rider may include endless amounts of Napa and Sonoma Co. reds that he can generously pour for the lucky folks who stake out the front rail.

Why so much hate for BottleRock? I have been twice and I think it's a fun festival and quite well organized over all. All festivals have crowds and traffic. Personally, I find Ohana disappointing in many ways since it's so tiny with extremely weak food and beverage selection and no re-entry. Fewer bands at Ohana too but more expensive.

Seeing PJ at a festival is obviously not a regular PJ show but I'm looking forward to BottleRock and will be there the whole weekend and thoroughly expect to have a great time. Doesn't hurt that I like wine, beer and good food too...

Is it confirmed they’re playing on Friday like the tour page says? Might be useful information before tickets go on sale tomorrow.
Where does it say that on the tour page? If you’re referring to the rumor thread, I assume “May 24th (wknd of)” means the weekend of May 24, not necessarily May 24 itself.
Check out upcoming shows on the tour page. It says May 24, not “weekend of…”
Got it. It also says "Festival runs May 24 - 26. Pearl Jam performance date TBA." under DETAILS on that same page, so I don't think it's any sort of confirmation that PJ will be the Friday headliner.

More power to you. I just look at the $456 price and would rather put that toward two or three headlining shows.
