I've always loved that Zurich Print. Just cool! I had it in my cart and balked, couldn't pull the trigger. And it would've been dumb if I did. Simply because I don''t have that cash just hanging out.

  • Rarity - age - old school silkscreens.  Also the fact that many folks didn't think twice about tacking them up on the wall, gluing them to foam board etc.  So there are few that are in top condition.  There might be 300-400 total of those prints where as today there are in the thousands not to mention AP's and stuff.

    Gotcha... Thanks.

  • The Zurich is really cool in person.  I was lucky and bought Zurich and Missoula 98 direct from the Ames bros back when Flatstock was in the center house at Seattle center.  Back before posters were a big deal.  I paid $100 each.  Chatted with them for quite a while and was the only customer aside from my friend.  Really glad I didn't spill any beer on them when we were out front enjoying a pint afterwards.

Well, last month's sale was way better.
I disagree, some of these are much better works IMO.

Wow.  I have the "Hamberg" version of the print that I would sell for much less than that if people are just looking for the cool artwork (exact same poster but different city).

Istanbul 2xl available. I didn't scroll that far down at 10 am. Were these all released at once or is there a new batch up now?

the few price checks I made seem way over priced, but I am no expert.

    $125 - decent price.

With all the money they are making, you would think they could afford to send items internationally.
and here I thought the PJ poster market was dead...
My thread of selling PJ posters certainly is 😕
lol the covid prices are long gone now.  Everyone will have to adjust pricing.
  • Those Mexico City variants are pretty pricey.  Curious to see if anyone goes for them.  Zurich went in less than 20 seconds.  $2400 if anyone was wondering.  Berlin was $2200.
You had one person trying to track down one of those variants for the longest time.  Not my cup of tea.

I take it that means they don't have a 96 Istanbul in the archives to sell. Too bad

Who knows what'll be released the next two days. @demetrios could work his magic and isolate all of the November shows that had Ames posters and we could then speculate further.
