Goodness.....3 grand for that Chicago 98. I may have pulled the trigger if it was 500 or less. Kudos to them for selling it, though.
So earlier I said that the prices were just about in line with expressobeans pricing....I have to change my tune a bit (or a lot). Back in 2020 the poster sold for $2650....you would think that the prices would continue moving up. More recently they list one that sold for $1600 and one for under $1000-obviously condition of the posters could be driving these lower prices....but, until today, nothing had sold for over the $2650 price....

I have been collecting prints for over 30 years. There has been a HUGE correction of sorts in the last 6-8 months. Massive price drops on many older prints and post 2000 regular PJ show prints selling for $30-50. Many of the older Klausen prints that used to sell for $500+ can be had for $200 or less. Plus the inventory has gone way up. I get the 98's going for a premium due to the scarcity and age but I was surprised at the prices of them today and how quickly they sold.
Bought the KC 2003 poster. I was front row at that one, didn't feel like carrying a poster around that day. Good thing too because it fucking poured on us (so much so it flooded up to my shoes until it stopped).

This was signed and numbered. Many of the 98s were not. I don't think expressobeans has separate price histories for signed and unsigned versions of the 98s

For anyone looking for their grail, it’s not completely crazy to jump on the ‘98s at high prices due to - Photos showing decent condition - Signed/numbered edition - Sourced straight from Ames (better chance of proving authenticity)
Doubt we’ll see that poster on eBay anytime soon at the price, so if someone was willing to pay for it, good on them
Hope the person who bought the 1998 Hawaii 2XL - Home Show Edition knew it isn't the 1998 Maui Regular Edition
That was definitely a decent deal......I mean massively inflated from the price they were sold at and given they were sold at a peak of the poster market it was still a marked increase but that is a seriously cool piece to own and frame as a focal point of a house.
I saw "Boston" and my heart skipped a beat and then I realized it was 2008 not 2006 (same style, and I like the Octopus more than the Whale, but I wasn't at the '08 shows).
"I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."
Those st Paul aps are groovy with the sleight of hand guy. Cheap imo. Just can't do it. No room...but would be nice to stare at...kind of surprised some are still there. The poster collectors have run to the hills.
1998 - Pearl Jam - Troy-Chicago Regular Edition - $3000
So glad I already had the Troy-Chicago '98, wowza! Quite a price range on those '03 posters, I completely destroyed my Champaign '03 so I'm hoping it's towards the low end when the April sale comes around.

That 06 poster is cool. Didn't go to that show but went to both Mansfield 08 shows.
Asked Ames Bros and got a reply: If you are purchasing from out of the US/Canada, you won't be able to access them, because we are unable to ship there.
