I have an amazing color variant: Black. A reminder that black vinyl is colored vinyl.

Also, nowadays used as a marketing tool too make people pay a few bucks more for the coloured version. Like e.g. with the latest Thåström release where the print run of the black/cheaper version was smaller than the more expensive colored version, but having them both in the store makes people pay for the more expensive but "less rare" one.

I get that. To each their own. I prefer color vinyl and a new variant is always fun.
You got your wish.

Levi just announced on Facebook that he cut the lacquers for the Vs reissue at 45rpm. Was hoping this would be the case after what he just did for Yield. I never thought the original Lp could be topped, but this may do it
My guess is only that they're cut at 45rpm and over 2LPs instead of one. Very likely the same remaster.
When something is cut at 45rpm does that mean I will then need to switch to 45 on my player to listen? ...for me that's a process that involves me removing the platter and changing the belt.
