Carry is spot on, he threw an absolute laser to the back up singer-damn good catch by her.

I would describe tonight as choppy. To me, it seemed like they never got going. Every time they started to pick things up, Ed would bring it back down. Short show, lots of mic feedback spread through out. To each their own though. Just Breathe in the 3rd spot was tough.

On the bright side, long road and undone were incredible.
    Haha.
    Lol. No criticism allowed!!!! Ever!!!

I honestly would hate this set.
Last night s set list seemed great on paper.  Like chi 2 more from an observers point of view.  Hopefully we get a lot more shows in 2024.

Agreed, it was all over the place. A lot of up then down, then up, then speech.   The songs that were played were super tight though. l had a blast

I’d really love the transcript of the poem before Alive or a video link. As a FW native and Latino, that story really touched me. These last few days have been the homecoming I didn’t realize I needed. On to Austin for what I’m sure is also gonna be an emotional week. Thanks PJ! 🩵
I gave him a fist bump outside after the show, told him nice singing as he looked so happy and carrying his tambourine

3 young people in front of me got tambourines, 2 brothers who snuck in… they were so excited. Love seeing it!

    Got Mike E pick

had a blast. Doing Austin 2 GA

Show 27 for me. All I can say is, it was just a reminder to see this band whenever you had the chance. Before the Indy postponement, Ft. Worth hadn't even crossed my mind. But I guess because of that, I began considering flying to Texas, found a cheap flight, cheap hotel, and snagged a front row, center ice seat. It was worth it more than I can describe. After going the last 4 shows without getting a new PJ song, I got Hard to Imagine and Undone. What?!? Breakerfall for the first time in 23 years, as it was the first song of my first show, and I hadn't seen it since. 2nd performance for me of Brain of J and Inside Job as well. I have to laugh seeing people saying it was a bad crowd based on someone's Facebook live stream. Ed mentioned the crowd several times, including after Just Breathe when he said he thinks that the loudest a crowd has ever sung that one (which I had noticed myself during the performance) and later when he said not all US crowds bring it like this one did. Fantastic show, top 10 for me for sure, and can't wait for the next one!

Fantastic show!  I feel so fortunate to have been there.  I was astounded at the variety in the setlist that had me having no idea what was coming next.  While I was waiting for DTE, GTF, Corduroy, Daughter and Porch I was surprisingly treated to Breakerfall, Brain of J, Red Mosquito, Severed Hand and UNDONE!!!  HTI is such a fantastic song watching them stand up at different times during it and Matt just nailed the ending of it!  Long Road is my favorite opener of all of time and I finally got to see it open a show I was at on the 12th try (I did get it as the acoustic set opener during the Vote for Change tour in 2004).  Pendulum was also a pleasant surprise in the 3rd spot.  Betterman is one of my all time favorites that I never get tired of hearing when it includes the Save it for Later tag and they nailed it with a long and extended jam.  It is nice to get an extended version of it to close the main set occasionally instead of the usual Porch.  The band and crowd were full of energy.  Even Seven O Clock was fairly well received where I was in the pit and sounded great (I personally love Gigaton).  Even RITFW is great live as the crowd and the band loved it when Deep Sea Diver joined them onstage that was full of joy and dancing.  Ed was his usual entertaining and funny self.   Can't wait for the boot to relive the magic of this fantastic show!

Wow!! That show was absolutely amazing from start to finish. So happy to see Matt back behind the drums. Then to hear that setlist just blew me away. My highlight was of course UNDONE. I never thought I would get that one. Everyone up front was going crazy. I am not sure how it was received in the stands being such a rarity to the casual fan. I was lucky enough to get rail and that always makes the show extra special. I can’t believe only two more shows and then back to real life.
