I think he might be reacting to Stone’s comments of the album being “near the finish line.”

Maybe but he's also far more connected than the average hump drawing conclusions from an interview

Yep. Stone said that on this podcast (around the 31:00 minute mark).

Seeing as they have cloned Mike (back left) I wonder how much more killer this album will be.

More like Feb 10th would be my guess. Remember...the PJ camp likes to build a LOT of hype.

Didn't we have 2-3 Mondays in 2020 before that album and tour were announced?

Yeah, I was hopeful for a new album in 2020, but had put it out of my mind as a possibility. Figured when it was there it would be there. Totally shocked and happily surprised when they started teasing that scavenger hunt.

He said soon. Not tomorrow or next week. For the people getting their hopes up if they don't see it when they expect it

A year is not soon, but that would be my guess. Hope I'm wrong.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

My guess is album release Q1 2024 followed by Euro and US tours in May-Sep. Similar to what was originally planned in 2020 with Gigaton

the record being "done" and being "released" could mean different years. no way this record comes out before the fall tour. I'm guessing Spring 2024.

Yeah, they want to tour for Gigaton a little bit more before the new album hits for sure.

Maybe we'll get it before the tour in Sept. Always a big album rollout time. But I'm not gonna think about it before anything is announced. It happens when it happens.
