Unfortunately I’m not able to make Indy now, but good news for you, I’m about to drop GA/Pit around 5 CST. Figure I’d give you F5’ers the heads up.

ETA: No longer putting them up at this moment. Sorry to get hopes up!
    Dude...
I’ve been hitting refresh for 20 minutes like an idiot.
Me too, probably BOTTED My IP..

back to my core search.. GA for TX shows.. adding INDY would have been a stretch as then would have to add FT1.. or redo my travel plans. either way, I know its kinda the grail... would have made it work

We need to make some sort of underground 10C  T-shirt about refreshing for tickets... the struggle!

It’s been mostly crickets lately, and I’m expecting that to continue for June and July. But I’m thinking things will pick up again by mid-August.

I’m wondering when the Chicago premiums will start to change to standard.  That is worth paying attention to!

it all depends on how many were held back... I have seen TM drop premiums day of show.. and all those lowers and floor prob never go all the way to face.. down in price probably,.. But if supply remains where its at, they will sell over the next months... what to watch is day of seats added in front of the mix and some added floor seats.. other tickets behind mix. Anything they thought could be obstructed and once the arena is setup, those tickets get added.. I got floor row 4 in LA in 2013 day of...

It looks like TM is released more premiums a few a time.... interesting.  I noticed there are more premiums for FTW1 in the same section I purchased a regular price F2F.

It all depends on demand.  The goal isn't to sell all the tickets right away anymore.  It's to maximize the price at which they can sell the tickets.  If demand is high then the prices probably won't go down until maybe just before the show (assuming they keep selling between now and then).  If the demand is low, then they'll probably  slowly lower the prices over time, and if there's any left leading up to the show they might go to face (or below face like the EV and the Earthlings Tour).

It's really inconsistent because it's demand based pricing.  I think the EV and the Earthlings tickets started discounting a week or two before the Seattle show I attended, but I think the demand was low for not being a PJ show, people still concerned with traveling and concerts due to Covid, and tickets costing more than your average PJ show.

For those of us going to concerts for decades it makes it so much harder (at least if you travel).   It used to be the promoters want to sell all the tickets ASAP so they didn't lose money.  So all the tickets used to go on sale at the same time.   Then presales started in the internet age, but they were always a few days before the regular sale, so they still blew out the tickets within a week.    Now it's maximize the revenue with demand pricing, so the goal is sell those tickets for as much as they can, not as quick as they can.

I think it can be good if your patient, and you live in a big city that has concerts.   For me, I live on an Island, so if I'm going to book a ferry reservation, hotel reservation, and a day or two off work, I kind of want the tickets in hand.   Not great for people who have to travel to see shows :(
