Question about posting tickets on F2F for Chicago. I’m going to N2 with a couple buddies of mine and we all ended up with extra tickets that we’re trying to unload. Me and one of my buddies already unloaded our extras, but the third has two singles (section 116, row 16 and section 301, row 9) that he’s trying to resell on F2F. He told me that when he tried to post them, the sale price was only $120 something, which was about $40 less than what he paid for them (I believe face was about $162). Has anyone else experienced this when trying to resell Chicago tickets on F2F? And if so, does anyone know why that is? Also, if anyone is interested in buying either of these seats directly from my buddy, I’d be happy to put you in touch with him. TIA!

Yes I’m having this exact problem. They only want to give me $244 for a pair. Been dealing with it all week and Ticketmaster hasn’t been helpful to this point. Trying again today.

When F2F first opened for like a day before shutting for a week Chicago payout was 148.  When it reopened earlier this week it was correct in the 160s.  I didn’t know it broke again.  Sigh.

I don't think its messed up for everyone. Most people seem to be getting the correct payouts. Im actually going to email 10c and see what they recommend since Ticketmaster has been avoiding me

I will update. I got that same 296 during the first round of F2F too but didn't mind that one as much. I didn't realized I was supposed to get the full 325.66

I would bet its tied to those that had tickets replaced and refunded during the first mess up.. you will see some F2F tickets posting at lower amounts.. its either that, or in the state you live the taxes are not refunded by law.. so you get a lower payout.

I’m not sure what applies here but I know that when I have sold tickets for other bands if I post what I paid for them TM lets me know that the fees they take out is going to give me less. In order to get back the exact amount you originally paid you have to price them a little higher than what you paid for them to recoup those fees. But for these tickets we have to sell at face value so we can’t get those fees back. That is my take on it. But if anyone finds out anything different let me know.

Which is why I didnt really care about 296. I just figured i had to eat those fees. But for this round where i am losing another 50 dollars it doesn't add up

another question for those that have been successful at grabbing F2F tix. When you get them in your cart and begin the payment part, does your screen lag a bit with the parking and other shit bouncing around making it difficult to get your 3 digit code in? I keep striking out even for timed drops and I'm trying to figure out what I can do to end this madness. Possibly a browser issue? I'm still pretty fast IMO, but I'm 0-12 and its driving me nuts. Thanks for any tips.

There aren't any fees for this face value exchange though, unlike standard resale where you can set whatever price you want and TM takes a 15% fee. TM just had the pricing wrong on the first day, which may be why they shut it down after a few hours. Those first day buyers actually paid 148 for Chicago and 150 for Austin instead of the 162 it was supposed to be. You see some weird pricing discrepancies when those first day sales are reposted -- on Austin there's one ticket that's 150 and the rest are 162. Whoever listed that probably bought it on the first day of F2F for 150, which is what the seller got. I recall earlier this week seeing some Chicago tickets selling for 148 while others were 162. It appears to be fixed now so payouts from this week's sales should be equal to the original price with no fees deducted, although apparently it's not completely fixed,

So the way it is showing up on my end is 122 per ticket PLUS 40 in fees, to equal that 162. But I am not getting the money for fees back.

Just a theory but could the different tax payouts have anything to do with state taxes or something? Is there any detail provided behind the amount?

I don't think so. Ft Worth, same state as Austin, I got paid the exact amount I paid originally (322.54). It was just a TM pricing error for Austin and Chicago on the first day. Payout was 150 and 148 instead of 162-ish. St Paul was only off by like a dollar from the original price (161.42 vs 160.08).

I sold some Austin pairs on the first day - should I follow up with Ticketmaster or consider the difference lost?

a pricing error that TM clearly knows about but will be near impossible to recoup the additional funds...

Its been an absolute joke trying to fix it
"You can set whatever price you choose for this event" - No you can't, PJ does not allow it
"The Event organizer is requiring tickets are only sold at face value" - $122 is not face value
and no less than 3 times they have given me instructions on HOW TO SELL TICKETS. its been an experience

Can't hurt to try. They should pay it, but I wouldn't be optimistic. On one hand, they clearly said there would be no fees for using the Face Value Exchange and that you can sell for the amount you paid. On the other, there was probably a screen that said the payout would be 150 which you agreed to by hitting submit. And that's how much the buyer was charged, so TM would have to pay the difference itself, which I expect they wouldn't do without more effort on your part than it's probably worth.

I never thought it would be hard to sell 10C tickets at face value for Chicago. Hopefully mine sell before September
They will, most people are probably waiting for something better to drop, but towards the end everyone will be happy just to get in the building.

Did someone buy the $800 Indy F2F tix?! Good for them!

EDIT - Nevermind. They weren't showing up for me for a moment, but they're still there.

Looks like TM just dropped a bunch of premiums for Fort Worth N2 in section 106. I don't recall them being there yesterday. I wonder how many more tickets they are holding back.
