First of all, last night's show was great! I've been to all four of this tour and I'm now somewhere north of 80 shows. That being said, I had the worst seats ever last night in Section 1 Row 23.
We had a girl in front of us standing on a five gallon bucket (literally a five gallon bucket) recording all night with her hands in the air. When my girlfriend and I asked her to get down, her boyfriend tried to fight us. Floor seats in the back are a joke. Never again.
Anyone have Indy tix? We planned to fly back east today but couldn't end the tour on such a sour note.
Sorry for the rant.
How many rows were in the section? I'm row 12 on the floor (aisle seet) in Austin and a bit worried about visibility, but I guess it is what it is. I'm 5'10. My friend is 6'3 so I feel for the people who will be behind him.
About 30 rows, I think. I will never sit on the floor again. I'm 5'11.
Where'd she find a 5 gallon bucket?
Right? I can only assume that she brought in in. It was nuts!
i believe you...but...do you have a pic?
Unfortunately no. I was so blown away by the situation that I didn't even think to get one.

I sold one of my Chicago Night 2 tickets Fan to fan and when I met the person that bought my ticket at the show, he said he got it off stub hub for like $200 and something.... I sold at face value $162.83 He said it was his first PJ show and he left at the Encore.. wtf. Fan to Fan? Not.

Sounds like the fan you sold your ticket to went and resold it on stubhub.
I’m finally, officially giving up on my dream of sneaking off to Austin next week. Will be posting my pairs for both shows at the top of the hour (10 am Eastern) to give anyone here a leg up if interested. Looks like there are quite a few tickets available on the exchange for each show, but these are maybe a tick better than what’s up there right now?

Yes, my fan to fan sale was resold on stub hub for profit.
If there’s any possible GA available for Indy please keep me in mind. I can promise you they will not go to waste or resale. I live in Noblesville and would rock the hell out of that space Safe travels everyone and I will see you there! Thank you!!!
I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love.
Well well well, would you look at that. All those Section B Row U premium seats good ol' TM just found.
You mean, look at all the prime seat that the band held back from 10c members to sell as plats? Dont pass the buck to TM without acknowledging the reality here...

yep, at this stage of the game, seats that are put back are seats that TM didnt have access to, the Band, Venue, label, 10c. friends and family seats, ... everyone has to have access to seats and when those seats do not get claimed they go back to TM as the broker.. Some do end up at the box office only, it's always good to check day before or day of.
Then there are seats added after the venue is setup, seat are held in some areas that have poetical visibility issues. in some cases seats are added to the floor depending on room. ive saw 4-6 rows in center floor added in front of mix board in LA last year..

I've not ran from that at all. I ended up with a very generous move up for Chicago 2. Got to move from 319 to 113 and the crowd around me was awful because of what PJ signed off on. All so they could sell 300 level seats under the guise that they did it to only put more tickets in the hands of 10C members. I should have been surrounded by folks that knew the song "Smile". I wasn't.

I did sell my two reserved for Chicago II but I sold them to a fan from this very board so I knew they were in hands of a good fan!

That's a thought I've been having as well. I scored a standard ticket in the lower rows of Sec A for DC, which just so happens to be where quite a few premiums were. I hope the crowd around me doesn't suck but it is what it is. I'm normally a pacifist but if I hear ONE person ask me to sit down, I'm gonna lose it.
I know there's been discussions on these boards regarding etiquette (sit down when asked vs. telling them they have every right to stand too). Who knows what the right answer is...but you're there for a rock show, not an orchestra.

GA is going to be so close to you with very little incline. No one will see fuck all if they are sitting. Stand and enjoy the show!
