I would have absolutely passed on my 333 and 334 seats for the United Center.
most people were looking for a way out of 300s as soon as assignments dropped. definitely gonna be a handful of empty seats in chicago

I guess I will be chilling in the 303 and 314 by myself.

Thats why they need tiered pricing. If those were $100 they’d sell
There is a way to drop the price
Transfer them over to another TM account that you own then put them up on fan to fan. They will be $122. I would only do this if you know yours won’t sell.
That's true for resale but there are standard tickets that never sold in the first place. And even for the Texas shows we're seeing behind the stage and uppers starting to accumulate on resale. If the less desirable seats were priced lower to begin with, like Indy lawn, every seat would sell and people wouldn't be eating all these resale tickets or have to find ways to lower the price. If Indy lawn tickets were $151 like every other seat they'd eventually stop selling too. At $81 there are a lot more people willing to buy
St Louis Cardinals get 40,000 attendance every game because there's a price point for all fans. 400 level in the outfield is $10. If they followed the PJ model and the price to sit in the upper deck was the same as the price to sit behind home plate, the upper deck would be empty every game.
They already sold those less desirable seats though at a higher price. We all know they do not give two shits if they sell again especially if they are not making any fees on them as is the case here.
I know you buy a tickets for a lot of different bands. Have you ever seen TM allow you to sell below face value on their verified resale platform? I have not and the message you always get is the event organizer set it up that way taking the blame off TM. If it is Pearl Jam that is doing this and not TM's resale platform why would they do something that was not so fan friendly aside from just trying to sell more unsold Premium or standard tickets...
We used to have to eat 10C tickets if we could not make the show so they have made some good strides since then. Still has room for improvement though.
Behind the stage definitely needs to be lowered in price. If a show that is a top 5 North American market can't sell out two shows they are doing something wrong.
Edit: I guess also the difference with this band and most of the other bands is the only way we can resell any of their tickets (aside from states that allow transfers) is through their resale platform. This does not allow an overpriced ticket (in the current market) to be sold again at all and thats the complaint I guess. If they wanted to keep fan to fan and force people to sell on that platform I agree there should definitely be an option to lower the price.
A significant amount of the 300-level sales for Chicago were blind purchases by 10c members through the lottery. If the seat locations were revealed in advance, many would have passed. Maybe all of the same seats still would have sold through the regular sale but it seems pretty clear that at least some areas like rear stage uppers are overpriced.
I don't recall TM not having a price floor for concert resale but for situations like that when you need to take a loss you can use a competitor site that doesn't have the minimum. Can't do that here other than Chicago. For sports, they don't always have a minimum resale price, or if they do it is often below the standard price, presumably to accommodate season-ticket holders.
yeah my first assignment was sec 106...loved that. Then those got reassigned to 304

Is there any chance all 10 of those $900+ listings for Noblesville are actually "fan to fan"?
It just means that some poor soul purchased those seats for $900 and because of the Face Value policy they cannot list them for anything lower on TM. They're just not going to sell unless they use a 3rd party site.

I saw it and before I hit the select button it was "too late". I've gotten past that, all the way to the "submit order" a few times now only to have it taken from under me. SO frustrating. Just need this one GA ticket then I can stop and enjoy the week leading up to the show.. hopefully today is the day!
The front row will have some monitors partially blocking your view but you’ll have Ed right in front of you on the cordless and when tossing tambos.
