I kinda want to hear Present Tense. I lost one of my twins when she was three due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. She had complications at birth and they told us she would never leave the hospital. We had her for three beautiful years. But as her mom I feel like her death is my fault and for that I can never forgive myself. I would absolutely love to not live with that. I want to forgive myself and live in Present Tense.
This verse, kills me every time. I sob. But one day I hope I can live in Present Tense and maybe hearing it live will break 'the curse'. You can spend your time alone re-digesting past regrets, oh Or you can come to terms and realize You're the only one who cannot forgive yourself, oh Makes much more sense, to live in the present tense

My father went into cardiac arrest at one of my high school soccer games when I was 15, never woke up, passed away 20 days later. My father in law passed out at his steering wheel (at a stop sign, thankfully) on 12/20/21, never made it out of the hospital and passed away 9 days later. Unmarried, my wife is the only child dealing with the mess that was left, all while being pregnant and giving birth 18 days later.
It's not the rarest song and it might not be a sexy choice for some. We've only been to six shows, so it's not a huge surprise that we haven't heard it live, but we can always hope.
Please play a sit down preset in Chicago N1 before the opening band because it’s been 20 years since Mansfield and Benaroya Hall ‘03 and Chicago is the perfect place for this to happen again!
