300 level?  After nearly 30 years of 10c membership... our beloved fan-first band is dead.  Utterly devastated.  Looks like my 43rd show this past September in Denver was my last.

My suggestion for a change to the process:  Assign 10C seats and THEN allow us to decide to buy them or not

If it was so easy to sell out all these shows, allow 10C members to pass on bad seats they don't want, and then let the general public purchase them knowing beforehand exactly where their seats will be before forking out $320/pair
I used to buy IU basketball season tickets and their system gave you a three minute window to choose your tickets. You were told your selection time and then when your time came you log in and it shows all of the available tickets.

Not sure how that can happen on a larger level but it was kind of nice.
I like the idea of letting us pick out of the available seats, but I don't know if letting us pass on the tickets will work. People would just pick all the shows and make the lottery irrelevant. It would be purely ticketing by seniority and new members would only get tickets if everyone else passes on them. Letting us pick though, that would be nice for people who prefer a certain side or an aisle or would rather not be on the floor, etc. If you aren't online to pick your seats, you get assigned the best available seats at the end of your window.

They could just go back to only letting people pick 1 show lol

As always, there are some complaints that are over the top. So too with some of the defenses.

Paying membership dues for years, being charged twice for tickets, receiving three different seat assignments, all before finally being stuck in some of the worst seats in the house...this is not how shit just works these days.
The issue I don’t understand, and perhaps you can explain this to me, is why people are freaking out after they were correctly allocated based on seniority. We received 2 incorrect seat assignments before the proper tickets arrived so how could someone who clearly received the wrong tickets based on seniority be upset once proper tickets based on seniority arrived? An inconvenience? Sure. An injustice? I don’t think so.

Maybe ther could be an option, in the show selections, that you don't want any Sections located near the roof?

I can't speak for anyone else. Getting the proper seats based on seniority isn't my issue, nor is not getting the original seats. My issue is that middle of the road seniority now gets me seats in sections 333 and 334 of the United Center. I would never buy those seats on my own. The roughly half of the club with less seniority than me gets even worse seats than that. I fully understand people being disappointed to learn that.

And it doesn't matter that the announcement made clear there would be 10c seats in the 300s. No one had any reason to expect how many seats that would be, and how many club members would end up there.

It isn't an injustice. It is a disappointment, and it is a lesson learned.

Both pairs sold.  Let the general public happily buy up these Uppers, don't stick them on Fan Club members that don't want them.

Yeah I'm selling mine too tomorrow, CHI n2 sec 314 row 16.  10C not worth it anymore based on this experience.  Oh well, such is life.

I’m having difficulty wondering why I would pay Ten Club fees and get the last row in the worst section at the united center in Chicago. I don’t get it. Is this how they treat their fans?  I’ve been a member for several years.

I heard back from the 10club on Austin seat location. In addition to PJ Premium, tickets were also allocated to:

"The venue, venue season ticket holders and Verified Fan also get tickets."

This now explains why many people received seniority seating much further back in Austin than they are used to. Some upfront transparency would have been nice to set expectation overall all seats would be worse due to these additional allocations.  Saying they are getting more fan club seats thus seats will be higher up, only explains people with high numbers getting seats in rear/uppers. That wouldn't affect lower numbers.

As it states in the fan club section on PJ site -
Ten Club holds the best tickets in the house for members-only presale opportunities and rewards longtime fans for their dedication with seniority-based seating.

The spirit of this is no longer true when you add in PJ Premium, season tickets holders, venue allocation and verified fan as all affecting seniority seating and should have been disclosed prior to lottery.

If 10C used to get 20% of the seats (a guess), but the best seats, and now Platinum is taking 10%, they're taking half of the previous 10C seat assignments.  Platinum/Premium was going to push us all back, maybe twice as far back as we were each used to.

with the exception of VF (since this is a relatively new thing), this has always been the case that the venue and venue season ticket holders also get allocated premium seats.

the reality is that everybody got pushed back from where they normally would expect to be because of the PJ Premium seats.
but the tradeoff is that PJ Premium allowed a lot more 10C members to get tix to the shows.

end of day, while there was obviously a massive hiccup with the seat reassignments, the reality is that the 10C sale is still superior to almost any other option. compare it to the VF route, where - not only do you have to hope you actually get selected to be allowed to purchase tix - but then, if you are so fortunate, you have to deal with bots and scalpers buying up all the best seas within minutes before you can even put anything into your cart. it's a whack-a-mole shitshow

When did they write you back? Is there an email other than tickets@ that I should be reaching out to? I am stiiiiiiiiill waiting on a reply to my situation.

I don't think I posted in this thread, but I am member #58xxx.
Austin 1 first priority - unfulfilled
    Austin 2 second priority - at first 212 row A, now 213 row H

Yes, my member number is intact. But no replies to my emails asking to see what happened since a Friday email I got that was a canned reply about seniority being followed, which was certainly not the case for me. Not sure what else to do at this point but would be really nice to understand what happened with my membership status and if there is anything I can do for future tours.

Try info@tenclub.net.  Your seats are further back than my 197xxx seats so that makes no sense to me.

having a hard time understanding how my seats got worse each time they were re-issued for both Chicago shows. from seats on the 100 level to seats on the 200 level and finally in the top-half of the 300-level.  have been a 10C member for only 7-years, but still find it hard to believe the seats at all three levels cost the same
