Going To Chicago Solo?

Just wanted to see who is going to Chicago solo on the 5th and 7th. Where will you be coming in from and what seats did you land? I'm coming in from DC and will be in Section.313 both nights.

I'm going to the shows solo, but I'm from Chicago. I've traveled to shows solo before though, can be really fun.

You're right down the street from me then, lol. You flying or driving?I haven't made up my mind yet.
  • Anyone recommend a good nearby hotel within walking distance for the Chicago show?  I am not really familiar with the area. Thanks!

Probably going to want to stay in the downtown area (Loop or Mag Mile) and cab or uber to the show. There aren't going to be many options within walking distance of the United Center. There are a couple but it's not really a foot traffic kind of area.

Hyatt House West Loop....several of us staying there. Supposedly there are a few bars that will have shuttles back and forth that are near the Hyatt. It's also walkable

I reserved the Chicago Hotel. It's my first time staying there. About a 9 minute walk to the United Center. Fairly priced too.

Yeah, if all PJ fans just buy Bleacher Tix, they can then sit together.  Bleacher Tix at Cubs games are GA.  Once you get into the Bleacher Section, you can sit anywhere in the bleachers.  First-come-first-served, no assigned seats.  Plus on a Wednesday afternoon when school is already started, we should be easily able to meet up in the bleachers.
There's no need to say goodbye

Excited for the show on the 5th as it’s #10 and on my birthday.

Definitely hitting up the Cubs game on the 6th.

I'm a Sox fan, but the idea of sitting in the bleachers with a bunch of us together does sound kinda fun.

Honestly have had more fun going to shows solo than with someone a lot of the time. Don't have to worry about your ticket partner having a good time or whether they want to lineup early for the show or wait in line for merch.  Always meet people at the shows or around the venues and it's a blast.

With the amount of fans you'll see everywhere,it should be plenty safe.
