It's seriously fucked that you can't even try unless TM deems you worthy of purchasing tickets. Literally crazy. How has ticket buying gotten soooooo much worse in the last 5 years.
This isn’t just the case for PJ, a lot of bands are doing Verified Fan now and it’s like this. Helps their system not crash by too many people being on it (ala Taylor Swift) and it’s a random draw for who gets access when. Not defending the situation, just saying that’s how ticketing is going more and more, for bands that ask for it and don’t give TM free reign to Official Platinum every seat in the house at least.
Not that I care a great deal, but I was only confirmed as a verified fan for one show… is that normal?
you only get picked for one

I agree.. if it was just open the system would crash like it used to.. this way the server can handle the demand.
I say that as I've sat here waiting to get off the waitlist for 2 shows and now know its a lost cause..

I was one of the lucky ones and got a code for Austin 1. I noticed that behind the stage, all the front row tickets are never available. Are these actual seats or being saved for other people? I noticed the same thing for other venues, just curious.
Got into the TM Verified fan ticket sale for St. Paul Night 2. These ticket prices are crazy Behind stage sections - $161 ea Sec C26 Row 1= $556 ea Sec 115 Row 5 & 8 = $614 ea Sec 114 Row 1 = $730 ea Floor Left Row 12 & 15 = $730 ea Row 3 $898 ea Sec 116 Row 1 & 4 = $898 ea Row 10 $730 ea Row 16 $556 ea Sec 112 Row 1 &2 = $730
Makes me much happier that I am in the Fan Club. Sorry I would not spend this much on tickets.

Is this true? I must have missed that in the instructions. I put in for 3 verified fans and also only got a code for one. Missed out on Austin 1 which is actually the one I was really hoping for

That's not true. You can sign up for all 9 and theoretically get a code for all 9.

That's how they spin it but I don't buy it. Call me crazy but their ticketing system should be able to actually handle the traffic of people coming to purchase tickets. I think it's way more likely this is all to play games with FOMO and manipulating the market.

Have been buying tickets online on TM for 20 years now. Can't say I have experienced many if any experieces with the system crashing entirely.

I learned something today and stand corrected. I thought that only went for lottery

I was confirmed for Verified Presale and was able to snag one single ticket in Section 5. First row behind GA for Night 1 in Austin (going solo because I'm going to roll it into a work trip). I originally signed up for the lottery, but when I saw everything that was happening, I hadn't gotten selected yet and I turned my card off so it would decline. Sure enough, everyone's seats started getting moved to the 300s and I knew there was no way I was getting GA so when I got the email telling me i had one more chance because of my declined card, I just let it ride and rolled the dice on Verified Fan Presale.

This is how 10C should have done it too. Does it seem fair that one 10C member can score tickets to two shows (or more), while another 10C member scores tickets to zero shows? Should be 1 show per member.
So people actually paid the Premium Prices for all those seats? And only way to resell the is F2F? I’m shocked. Unless can scalpers get them and charge more????? Shocked

I'm guessing he means standard tickets are sold out.
Capacity is 25,000 so it's not outside of realm of possibility, though surprising.

The issues isn't people it's the bots and whatever other automated systems that are crashing the system. Its a simple supply and demand issues For example: Rather than just 100,000 people trying all at once for a few thousand (or less) tickets for Austin 1 there are literally millions of simultaneous attempts coming from bots. Plus any jacka$$ who wants try and buy a few tickets to sell at a profit.
The math doesn't workout in the long run for the average fan.
Getting tickets through the fanclub LOTTERY is the best avenue to acquire tickets. Not a guarantee but a better option. Even then the math doesn't work well for fans. Less shows=less tickets= less fans getting to see Pearl Jam.

I have Sat first row (actually 2nd) behind the stage for the tragically hip. There were alot of cables running on the floor in the first row, so possibly for that?

I just want someone to explain to me how there are GA tickets for St Paul on ticket broker websites?
Are you new here?

Maybe it's me? But how can a "public" sale not be for the whole Public? and just for the select few?
This Sale Is for Verified Fans
The account you’re using is not linked to this Verified Fan sale. To continue, please switch accounts and sign in with the same account used during your Verified Fan registration.
Not a Verified Fan? Please check back for more up dates.
VF is just TMs way of covering their ass. Its also a sales tactic. We do this to make sure fans get tixs and we have these things in place to prevent bots blah blah blah. Its all smoke and mirrors. They love scalpers and bots getting the tix. Its more revenue for them. There are so few tix available at all its pretty much just selling the idea that you can get tix. They know all along there aren't any. Creating this idea that you got "verified" just pushes people to buy premium.
