Chicago Night 2 Section

Hello, I got tickets for section 215. Anyone else? Feedback? Why so far out for ten club tickets?

My first guess would be the whole arena is going to basically filled with ten club members.
I got GA this time but had similar seats for St. Louis.

If this is true... they must received over 10,000 requests cause neither my friend and me won the lottery...  :|

FYI - With my reassignment came a new debit charge.  I have NOT yet received a refund for my original tickets.

Keep that in mind in case you used debit or are near your credit limit.  Load up, if you can.

    New/reassigned
seats are much worse and the worst that I have had since the 90's. I joined in 96 and these seats are not good.

Yeah I went from 110 to 217, not happy
  • I went from on the floor in Sec 1 to Sec 204....member 242xxx.  I'm happy to have tickets but these are the worst I've gotten through 10club in a long time...even in the same venue
you're god and you've got big hands
  • I also got the very worst seats I've ever gotten. It's the first time I've ever been in 300 level in any arena. Are that many members going to these Chicago shows than ever before?

Unfortunately they warned us our seats could be really bad ... I think it's because 10% of the seats are PJ Premium, and those are all great seats...

    Reserved - Seating:
Reserved seated tickets are assigned to members based on seniority in the Ten Club and will start closest to the stage extending back and include seats down on the arena floor. In order to accommodate as many Ten Club members as we can, be aware Ten Club seated tickets will be spread farther back into the uppermost levels, and include some of the best seat locations in the house.

PJ Premium isn't the issue. SeatGeek already having tickets is the issue.

PJ Premium is most definitely the issue:

    PJ Premium:

PJ Premium seats are located in a variety of preferred locations and account for approximately 10% of ticket inventory per show.

I scored 303 row 12 for night 2 but would consider possibly trading with someone rear stage. Never experienced that and have a pair for night 1so it may be cool to do this.

Misery Loves Company.  Glad to have company here.  I'll be honest, I never thought my seats would be WORSE.  They were bad, and then I get a huge downgrade?  Not sure how this is possible.

    10C #294000

Chicago Night 1: Original seats Section 108 Row 16.  Reassignment Section 205 Row 3.  This was my Priority #2.
Chicago Night 2: Original seats Section 104 Row 7.  Reassignment Section 334 Row 2.  This was my Priority #1.

I THINK THE THING WE ARE NOT TALKING ENOUGH ABOUT IS THE 10% of TICKETMASTER PLATINUM TICKETS.

But if you are selling 2350 Premium seats, then that is the first 15 rows of sections 121, 122, 101, 102, 113, 112, 111, 110.  So basically all of the good seats in the LOWER BOWL is now not going to 10C, but to Platinum Pricing.  10% doesn't sound like much, but it is a majority of the lower bowl and all 10C seats get moved behind these "new" 2350 Premium seats.

Too bad.  Not sure if 10C membership still makes sense if this is the path forward.  Will have to see if this continues.

Those 10% of the best seats in the house now move all 10C members back 2350 seats.  It is interesting that we haven't seen many people with those premium seat locations post.  All 10C is either on the Floor in GA or behind GA or is in sections 103 to 109 or is in the 200 and 300 levels.  We all got moved back 2350 seats.  THIS SUCKS.
There's no need to say goodbye

I think I "win" for worst seats to a Chicago show!  I got section 321 (side/behind the stage) row 13 (four rows from SRO section) and seats 9-10 (smack DAB in the middle of the row). I KNOW I didn't opt into the obstructed view seats.  This is some serious BS!  Have emailed to get a refund.  I love PJ, but this will be a terrible experience.

    Yep!

remains to be seen, but a better strategy might be waiting out PJ Premium declines/conversions to regular tickets with it being 10% of the venue.

For context, that’s over 2,000 tickets a night for the United Center.

can’t see how they sell all of them at 3-10 times face value.

Would love to see how much incremental money they are actually pulling in from this vs. the goodwill they are losing with fans.

seems pretty short sighted and foolish vs raising the rates and moving to a two tier system.

considering how many people add in travel costs to see this band, I don’t a marginal ticket price increase being an issue.

I don’t think o got tickets but finally got the email. Both nights in the 300 level. How do you know if you are getting reassigned seats? This seems pretty far up for a Ten Club member. I have always gotten good seats through the lottery.

Remember these are staggered too for when they drop them. Not just on the day of the sale.

They do it in smaller batches to maximize their sales.

this is the view from row 1 section 303!
my reassigned seats are section 303 row 9!
No one can tell me they’d be happy with these for $330 for the pair I got from the 10C lottery, im hoping my daughter changes her mind and I can just get rid of them I’d take $200 for the pair, it’s just not worth it for me to fly to Chicago for these seats! Screw 10C

313 for night 2, and I am happy to be in the building and giggled about the section (living Detroit-ish). After only having tickets for Baltimore the last time around I am more than happy to get some PJ live love! If you can only love them when you are close you are doing something wrong :peace:
