I don't know that this means anything. I seem to recall them say your card might be charged the $1. Also the lottery wasn't taking place until after the request period ended, and that charge should have ended up happening right away.
For what it's worth, I got the $1 charge twice, so I guess I am golden!
I definitely had a pending charge, which is now gone, on both my CC and my wifes. Same as last year. I think it's dependent on your credit card maybe. Last year, I used my WF and AMEX. AMEX didnt have the pending charge, and still hit for tickets. No need to overthink the pending charge.
