Now that the dust has settled, plans are set. Flying from Boston to DFW on Friday morning. Hitting Ft Worth Stockyards Fri afternoon then show Friday night. On Saturday, flying from DAL to San Antonio to enjoy the lovely Riverwalk that night. On Sunday we'll be making the hour and a half trek to Austin for some Dirty 6th street action. Monday we'll start the day with a Rainey Street crawl followed by the show that night. Tuesday will be a leisurely day around 6th before the tour finale that night.
First time to ATX? Avoid 6th.

This will actually be my 5th time in Austin. Have always LOVED Dirty 6th. Maggie Maes, Jackalope, Blind Pig, Thirsty Nickel, Flamingo Cantina, Casino El Camino, Aquarium, Mooseknuckle....Usually great music all around, hopping rooftops, and hot drunk chicks. Has something changed?

I'm not. Traveled for the Oakland shows last year (and still very happy the band figured out a way to pull them off). Hoping they'll play closer to me next year (Vancouver or Seattle).
