This made me think of the guy in front of me who dropped $500+ yesterday.

I can only hope Ennio Morriconne’s RSD release was in that stack.

Picked up the PJ record and RTJ pink cd.

Then right to the “newly acquired” used record bin and loaded up.  Stones mono big hits and New band albums, James Brown Jungle Groove and Machine Gun Kellys album.  Also picked up Tomahawk rerelease, Metallica 72 seasons,

    Final Tally:

Taylor Swift just now for $45 somehow
    Pearl Jam for $33
    Bastille for $50.
    Poe for $60

Only one I overpaid for was Poe which I couldve gotten for retail had I waited.  Fairly proud that I didn't go the inflated ebay route this RSD.  Not having a physical store this year made it really tough.

Mine was $44.99 pretax… I was wondering what other people were paying. I’m sure if I went elsewhere I could have got it cheaper, but was happy to support my buddy. (Just can’t pay those prices all the time yeesh is right).

Was able to get everything I wanted:

    Pearl Jam
    Pixies (Live in Brussels)
    Joe Strummer
    Frank Black
    Ocean Colour scene
    Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Couldn't get the Scott Weiland album in store, but was able to grab it online afterwards.  Got the Joe Strummer album on a complete whim having never heard any of his solo stuff before, but I knew that EV has mentioned a few times how good that particular album is (and it has the song 'Arms Aloft' that PJ occasionally cover), and I'm so glad I took the gamble as it's an awesome record!

Unfortunately the Rockfords album was not available in Europe. :-(

I got my soul asylum LP in the mail today.  It's got two side c/d records and no side a/b.  arghh... looking for a new copy now.  Emailed the place I ordered it from.  Not really their fault as it was sealed, but hopefully they can refund or something.
  • Tim SimmonsTim Simmons Posts: 8,069
Pretty sure I read it’s a widespread problem. Every copy was like that.
  • ZodZod Posts: 10,587
Damn I emailed the place I got it from hoping I get a refund, but I ordered another copy I found.   It's another copy from Europe though.. maybe I should of tried to track down a N.A. pressing.  Maybe I'll get lucky and the 2nd copy will have two side A/B's.
