I have to work so won’t be able to go out in the morning but I had planned on going for the PJ and I think Isbell has a release. I’ll probably have to look at secondary market.
Detroit 2000, Detroit 2003 1-2, Grand Rapids VFC 2004, Philly 2005, Grand Rapids 2006, Detroit 2006, Cleveland 2006, Lollapalooza 2007, Detroit Eddie Solo 2011, Detroit 2014, Chicago 2016 1-2, Chicago 2018 1-2, Ohana Encore 2021 1-2, Chicago Eddie/Earthlings 2022 1-2, Nashville 2022, St. Louis 2022
5th in line, should be able to snag PJ no problem, hoping for Scott Weiland, RZA, and I know they got 1 copy of that Randy Savage rap album so I'll try for it to flip it lol
had weather overnight so the owner stayed here and handed out numbers starting at midnight or something. weather cleared just at opening. numbered folks show up, find your place and wait. appeox 25 in at a time. at least 250 numbers.
less orderly than usual. big bunch up near the door. so it feels closer than we really are. reality is I started at about the same spot as I have in the past...

I got everything I was after, except Duran Duran. Kinds surprised it sold out given I was probably about 50th in line. Anyways, if anyone knows where to score a copy that’s not eBay, please let me know .

So jealous! No shop in town got a copy of The Rockfords and it was the one I really, really wanted. At least it was a "first" title and will be released more widely at some point.
But I picked up: Jason Isbell: The Sound Emporium EP Our Lady Peace: Collected Pearl Jam: Give Way Poe: Hello Travis: the Invisible Band Live The Verve Pipe: Villains Scott Weiland: 12 Bar Blues Wilco: Crosseyed Strangers

Just as I suspected, my local shop was out of the Isbell and PJ vinyl releases. I did manage to get the Give Way CD and Surfin’ The Great Lakes LP.
And not a RSD release, but I did pick up Iggy Pop’s New Values as well.

Pearl Jam, The Pixies, and the Nuggets boxed set. They didn’t have the Rockfords but the owner told me that two of their boxes never showed up from UPS and to give him a call in a few days.

Went into my local store at 330p (had work all day). They still had 6 Give Way Lps. They said didnt get any of the CDs. They still had 2 Rockfords. Had 6 Black Keys, no Isbell, no BRMC. Sold out of Swift and 1975 for those into that
Walter Bishop - Bish at the Bank Grateful Dead - Boston ‘77 Pearl Jam - Give Way
Neat story….I live in Birmingham, AL where Wilco is playing tonite (tickets secured 🎟️). Yesterday afternoon the whole band showed up at our local go-to record store, Seasick Records, and signed all fifty or so copies of their RSD release. I queued up an hour before doors opened yet whiffed at scoring a copy. Regardless tho, super cool of Wilco 😎
Really trying to find the 1975. Bought it twice today to no avail. First seller canceled my ebay order and relisted it for more money. Next purchase I just realized is a known scammer. Sucks when your store decides not to participate in RSD.

Also grabbed the new Fruit Bats album
Was with my son and we first stopped by at 10:30. Line about 80 people deep and they were letting about a dozen people in the store at once. Insanity.

It was one per person and they wanted PJ so hoping 10C will have some or there will be leftovers online.
