Well, he isn’t wrong.  New England has been spoiled rotten with shows over the band’s history.  It's finally time to give other regions of the country their share and you all can travel for once.  Sorry for the tough love but it sounds like it’s needed here for the entitled.
People are just bummed when a tour is announced and there isn't a show nearby. It's easy to get myopic around here but jumping on a plane for a random arena show is a 99th percentile concert attendee move. It's bizarre to read that as "entitlement" that requires "tough love."

Jokes on you. Without Northeast shows we’re flying to Texas and making it harder for you to get tickets.

You are way too salty for someone who just had four shows announced in your state. Put in your requests and attempt to enjoy yourself!

You’ve got your shows. Looking forward to never hearing from you again on this subject after September. This is not a contest. Your favorite band has been depriving you of shows in your state, not your fellow fans.

MSG, Camden/Philly & Fenway are NOT the whole East Coast. The rest of us haven’t gotten shows in 10 yrs+ either. They’ve averaged about 8.7 shows per year since ‘16. No one except Cali has gotten enough shows in a decade. So let’s all be on the same side. I’m thrilled for the 5 cities getting them, I don’t think the East Coast, the Rust Belt, the PNW/Western Canada etc should be getting shows INSTEAD of Texas, I think they should play more than 9 shows. We’re all in the same foxhole here. I want everybody to get shows.

Not only are they not the whole East Coast, but only one of them is even in New England.

💯 agree my friend.  My bad for comparing but it’s the first time in over twenty years we haven’t had to fly to another city to see the band that wasn’t a festival.  Anyway,  I hope you all get tickets to your destination shows.

When I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms and Barenaked Ladies at Bank of NH Pavilion last summer, the artists were really putting over the venue and scenery and how it's the new hot spot.  I wouldn't be shocked if PJ plays there at least once as a bucket list thing since it truly has become a revered venue amongst artists recently.  Will be a tough ticket for sure.

But they love to play Hartford and the Boston area so I gotta say they'll play at one of the venues at some point.
