This last week will be a fireworks show grand finale of bullshit
at least we've moved into actual candidates ads now and not solely the pac attack ads.
would love legislation regulating political text messaging . seperate check box in the national do not call registry.
Dude...5 so far today. Obnoxious.
you guys should change your default text message app to google messages. it catches every single political ad and automatically dumps it in the spam folder. works awesome. i haven't received a political ad into my inbox this entire cycle.

I do actually have that. Still get a notification though but yeah it could be worse. I guess I should play with the settings to even turn off the notifications.
Nothing says good political instincts like turning a roast comic loose and following that up with Stephen Miller
it's really something, isn't it? prior to the age of trump, any ONE of the thousand things this party has done in the last 8 years would have absolutely SUNK them in campaigns past.
At this point I'm convinced it's a Brewster's Millions situation where there is some insane reward for whichever campaign loses

“Maybe it’s a stupid, racist joke,” Vance said, claiming not to have seen the Puerto Rico comments, but “maybe it’s not.”
In any event, he suggested, critics needed to lighten up. “Our country was built by frontiersmen who conquered the wilderness,” Vance said. “We’re not going to restore the greatness of American civilization if we get offended at every little thing. Let’s have a sense of humor and let’s have a little fun.”
A sense of humor? A little fun? You might think Vance, given the campaign’s position, could manage the same in the face of a surrogate who called a U.S. territory populated by U.S. citizens a “floating island of garbage.”
No. “I think that we have to stop getting so offended at every little thing in the United States of America,” Vance said. “I’m just — I’m so over it,” he said. But this, as much as Vance might wish, is not about political correctness or knee-jerk oversensitivity. It’s about common decency. Apparently, that’s too much for the GOP’s vice-presidential nominee to muster.
And you may have thought they were laughing at the “carving watermelons joke,” but you know:
This Trump ego-stroking would be harmless if that were all that is happening. But the slavish devotion is accompanied by the foul concoction of racism, misogyny and vitriol brewed by Trump himself. The warm-up acts ape their leader. The extreme, insulting language — the vileness — comes from the top. He called Harris “retarded,” “mentally disabled,” and “a sh-- vice president” — the latter in front of the Catholic cardinal of New York.
So, it appears even the deplorables know they’re deplorable but they have a secret. They can’t even own it. Out them, out them all. From someone who went to the rally at MSG:
Most of the people I approached were enthusiastic about being photographed. It helped if I commented on their Trump swag. But nearly everyone was reluctant to share their name. Some were afraid of being ridiculed at work if co-workers discovered they were pro-Trump.

I mean, the other side of the coin of that is that it's because of the EXTREME MARXIST LEFT being bullies about anything and are as bad as the fascists on the right AND ARE SUPPORTING HAMAS BY NOT WANTING CHILDREN TO BE BOMBED AND ISRAEL NEVER DOES ANYTHING WRONG. okeeeeey. New rule.

So I might have been tempted to let this all slide, were it not for the reactions — first by JD Vance and then by Trump himself.

Oh, and sure, it’s not a cult.
