    Sure, but that was being spread without any confirmation. I turned on the news as soon as I heard about the shooting, maybe about 15 minutes, and never heard any reports of it outside social media. It was being spread fast there.
    And plenty of people wishing the shooter hadn’t missed.

    I don’t own a horse. Just pointing out there were plenty of people mocking the situation and wishing the bullet hadn’t missed despite a fatality. So I don’t see the need to mock the “what ifs” had it been Biden when it was pretty bad already.
    I probably saw more posts mocking the shooting, supporting the shooter  or suggesting it was faked than I saw condolences for those injured or killed.

    The pearl clutching over the reaction to yesterday is a bit much, especially considering how trump et al responded to the attempted murder of Paul Pelosi last fall. 
    Inciting hatred & invective has been the staple of one party for years now, and it ain’t the Dems.

    You’re right, there were definitely classless posts about Paul and many other things directed at the left. Let’s just not pretend they didn’t exist last night is all I’m saying. There has already been one congressional aide fired for posting the shooter should have taken lessons.
