And down he went to seek cover behind the podium. The Secret Service took it from there. I'm now reading reports that there may have been a second gunman.

    i just scrolled twitter and its a shit show. someone is posting that the teleprompter was hit by a bullet and a piece of glass from it hit trump. people just post shit without any proof.

    If that's the case, that's a failure by security/Secret Service.
    I remember working years ago at Boston University when Prez Bush was the commencement speaker. There are 3 tower dorms that surround the football field, those were 100% closed down and there is an apartment hi rise across the street. Banners were hung between 2 of the dorms to block any possible sightlines for a gunman from that apartment building.

    If there was any place a gunman could get a shot off at the rally stage, that area has to be secured prior.

    That notwithstanding, this is a terrible incident regardless of anyone's political views. Glad gunman was neutralized, feel horrible for the attendees killed and injured.

    God Bless all those Secret Service agents, the victims in this tragedy, and of course the next President of the USA….Not the outcome many wanted, but America just got a whole lot STRONGER!!!     And he just won the election. There is no room for assassination in USA. That is what the left has become insufferable, intolerant, hateful, spiteful, angry, unrelenting progressives which will be the death of America. 

    Vote all red or this country will be full of that kind of shit.
