My favorite version.  He changes the octave so slightly in it that it makes it a whole new song.

Edit:  Good version you picked.  Stones Guitar in the background and the Bass are recorded nicely on this.

@Santos L. Halper wasn't that the show that shook during DTE on the boot too?

Last MSG show EV said "isn't that cool" to the floor shaking.

    yup
Also happened during corduroy in 2008.  pretty mind blowing.

I'd like to nominate Toronto 23 as the most cathartic RVM i have ever heard... something about it just set me off.  Probably not the greatest musical version of it, but the emotion of that one was transcendent.  Goosebumps...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
  • Great version!

But Pittsburgh '03 is my all time favorite followed by St Louis '00 and Boston II '06.  RVM's were so good in the early 2000's.  It's a shame they don't really take the song for a ride anymore.
"What can you expect when you're on top? You know? It's like Napoleon. When he was the king, you know, people were just constantly trying to conquer him, you know, in the Roman Empire. So, it's history repeating itself all over again."

Some great ones in 94!  There is a decent sounding aud of this I believe, but it has been years since I've heard it.

I’m keen on the Charlottesville 2013 version.  The middle section flows so perfectly.
Trieste 2014 is also very solid.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any version ever

Snl 94 is also up there I remember a 13 yr old staying up to watch that and seeing it performed live on tv blew me away. Ed turn his head to say fuck off looking back at Dave before kicking back in and Jeff going nuts losing his hat. Just awesome
