This guy is my "investment guy"
When he wins rookie of the year along with a batting title, I am going to look like a genius.
I was purchasing his cards early in the ballgame.

Oh well, a faint line still remains, and will always remain. I can work on that card for days and weeks but as far as this crease? It will never 100% disappear. Some cards I can completely get rid of the crease, others I just cant. Im guessing it has to do with the card stock? The mid 50s cards I work on? It seems easier to get rid of creases. Its a much heavier stock, and when the card is soaked it just seems to go back to its original shape a little easier than some of the 60s and 70s cards. Although some 70s cards I can eliminate a crease in just one semi-soak. Hmm mm

Oh well over all the card looks great, to me anyway.

If you ever want a real challenge Speedy I’ll send these guys your way 😂
They barely survived the competitive card throwing era.

    I like the Schwarber auto.
Ive been scooping up a ton of autos on ebay. One thing I have noticed? The modern athlete is...

    1. Too lazy to actually sign their own signature.
    2. Too ignorant to sign their own signature. Haha
    3. Wasn't taught cursive in grammar school.
    4. Just doesn't give a shit.

I refuse to pay for these autos. As much as I would like to have them. Fuck em, Im not doing it.
    Go look at.

    Aaron Rodgers
    Shaq
    Mahomes
    Its just pathetic scribble

    Then go look at
    Mariano Rivera
    Reggie Jackson
    Julius Erving
    Eddie Murray

That Schwarber was one of the biggest moments of blind luck in my life. Won a free spot for the Cubs online from Topps in a case break at The National convention and ended up with the best card in the case.

Big Braves fan so this is my fav card in my collection. Ol’ Henry was never known for his penmanship especially later in life 😆

Not baseball, but curious what folks think I should do with this old UDA 8x10. Hold or sell now? Will his stock rise forever or will new generations not care?

We are in a huge card boom right now.  You'll get max value for it right now.  Not sure how long this is going to last either.  I thought it was dying down 2 years ago but it flipped.

RIP to arguably the greatest manager of the modern era.
