Zippos On Airplane

Does anyone know the rules on taking a zippo on an airplane? Anyone have problems with getting their Eddie Zippo home?

Yup. And they may only limit you to one - even if all of them are empty.

And if you don't regularly use the zippo (assuming you will use it for whatever (fireworks, candles, etc), you'll need to fill it up as the liquid will evaporate/dry up.

They can still take it. Might be best to either check it or mail it to yourself.

I put my Zippos in my checked luggage. I was nervous they were going to confiscate them. I bought for friends as well, so I had four of them.
