    American Artifact chronicles the rise of American rock poster art since its birth in the'60s. Award-winning director, Merle Becker crosses the country interviewing the rock poster artists from the different eras to discover that America is currently in the midst of a 21st century "rock poster art movement", where thousands of artists around the country are doing silk screened rock poster art inspired by their local scene, the music of our time, and the spirit of our era.

    Hopefully it gets resolved and goes back up. I started to watch it the other night, got tired and went to bed with plans to watch the rest later. My wife watched all of it and said it was really interesting.

    I watched it, it was pretty good.  They focused on three major time periods, the 60s, the punk xerox flyer scene in the 80s and then moving into Kozik in the late 80's/early 90's that led to Emek and others.  Although it seems to have just been released, it appears to have been filmed around 2007 or so, looking at the production and not seeing a poster that was made after 2006 or so.  It was cool to hear more details about Bill Graham/The Fillmore.
