Any info help from Toronto-area fans please?

I am trying to help my son plan a concert trip next year and stay a cpl days in Toronto... the concert is at Budweiser Stage and would like to try and help plan 2 nights and help with getting to the event?  If any local fans could take a minute to give some advice or message me, id truly appreciate it... advice on a hotel ( the close ones seem pricey lol) paired with a train or subway? Is it easier to uber?  Parking? Trying to help him plan his first concert away lol
Thank you guys
John

My fave venue in Toronto, seen countless shows there!

There is lots of parking at the venue, depending on when the shows are, if the last two weeks of August (thats when the CNE takes over the parking) I would take the GO train to the Exhibition station.  Its a 10-15min walk from Exhibition Stadium to Budweiser Stage.

The venue has food trucks in one area, bars scattered around everywhere.   If you want to have some good food and beers I would suggest https://thecraftbrasserie.com/.    There are other eateries in that area also.  Exhibition station is about halfway between Budweiser Stage and The Craft.

You can try to book an AirBnb, might save over a hotel room.

  • The venue isn’t the easiest to get to.  There is a streetcar from Union subway station to Exhibition Place, and it is walkable to the venue from that Exhibition stop.  That is how I went to an event there this year.

Both of the north-south subway lines go to Union so it kind of opens up anywhere along those lines to stay.  The city is pretty safe overall but there are some areas to avoid staying in.  I don’t want to badmouth any areas but if you narrow down the potential places that you might want to book feel free to DM me and I can say what I think.
