Will Pearl Jam be referenced?

Pearl jam were referenced in the latest peter  santinello you  tube video which made me excited. He was in dakota and Montana  with indigenous natives and they drove in the middle of nowhere and went past a skate park. The native said that  was built by pearl jams bass player.  Peter  said wow  that's  my favorite  band i saw them a couple weeks back. I nearly wooped in my room on my own.

Don't know who he is but he referenced Pearl Jam....and the question was about PJ being referenced in a show, so not that far a stretch.

Out now. So far no Pearl Jam reference so far. Although I did see a soundgarden poster in one of the kids room.

Yeah I can def. see the Disney thing in the show and I agree with you on that. It's ok so so far. Only watched a handful of episodes.

One of the kids on the show considers herself a "riotgrrrl". She was the one that had the Soundgarden poster in her room along with some other bands in it.

Side note James Iha did the music for the show. Maybe some grunge music will show up later?

I'm almost half way through the season. No PJ references but the show is much funnier than I expected.

no PJ references at all in the first season and barely any grunge music at all aside from the Soundgarden poster. They did play Pantera, Collective Soul and Blind Melon in the season. Also one girl wore a Green Day shirt in one episode. That's abot it as far a rock music went for the season.

I watched the first episode. Donna has had some botched plastic surgery on her face. Looks weird to me.

Eric and his parents are funny together like they used to be. The kids are the problem though. Doesn't feel authentic.

This show is catered to our age demographic based on nostalgia just like Cobra Kai. Everyone wants to see the old characters and cameos, the kids are secondary.
side note: laugh tracks suck
Hollywood, stop rebooting everything, although I do agree with the poster above that it was funnier than I thought .
I could do without the mom from next door though…

yeah laugh tracks suck ass, especially recently. I watched the new Night Court and it while it was enjoyable the only thing I really didn't liek about it was the laugh track. Went off a few times every minute.

Also i agree about the mom neighbor however it was good seeing Fez.
