Point-and-shoot 35mm camera and instant cameras

I'm thinking about buying one of these badboys, put in some B&W film and start shooting analog. Instead of snapping 10000s of pointless pictures on my phone.

A Diana is also an option

Not to compete with my Canon 5D mark whatever, but with my day-to-day pointless picture taking.

One badly taken analog photo is worth more than a 1000 overprocessed iPhone pictures, after all.

But, instant cameras are of course a challenger to this. Polaroid or Fuji.

Anyone of you use a Polaroid camera in your daily life? Or shooting on some other basic analog camera?
Any suggestions on what to get?

  • I bought a Diana mini (takes 35mm film). If it turns out I am using it, I'll pick up an ordinary sized Diana and a wide-angle lens.
