She was one of a kind. Sad day. Huge for the Opry and Country Music. She was 90.
She's most famous for her song Coal Miners Daughter and also for setting up a residency at The Grand Ol opry which was unheard of at the time she was doing it. You want an interesting biography? Read up on hers.

Sucks. I was hoping for so long that she would perform again, but I was just too late. She was such an amazing talent and really my favorite female country singer.1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th

Fist City. Never heard that one. Thx0

She was a very talented artist, and kicked down the doors of the perceived role of what females in music could and couldn't do.0
-
Had one of her records. May have thinned it out. Got to dig.0
